nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 14, 2006 There is a trade on the board in my league. Player A gives up L.Tomlinson LenDale White A.Randel El Player B gives up F.Gore L.Jordan A.Gates TE's are used as WR's in my league... Would it make it acceptable if player B gave up D.Foster instead of L.Jordan Is this fair or would you veto it? Thanks leave a link and i'll answer yours... Peace... cooldawg16 0 Posted October 14, 2006 gore, foster and gates is better....i would do it then.... here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244102
AnaheimRams 28 Posted October 14, 2006 I don't see any problem with that deal. Lots of LT owners (me included) are getting a little nervous about his use/touches... although we may not speak publicly about it. Could be seen as a little unbalanced... but if we all knew what was going to happen, this wouldn't be any fun would it. I've seen worse trades go down for sure. Cuse9 129 Posted October 14, 2006 Player A gives upL.Tomlinson LenDale White A.Randel El Player B gives up F.Gore L.Jordan A.Gates Is this fair or would you veto it? I see it like this....Gore is as good as LT....well, so far this year. Lendale has better upside the rest of the year over Jordan (Fargas looks great and could take the job in Oakland....doubt it, but he will definitly take carries). Gates is better than Randle El. Gates should have better numbers from now on. Rivers has acknowledged that he needs to get him the ball more. I like Group B better.....better combo. No reason in the world to veto the trade. Thanks for checkin mine!!
bobpate17 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Team A should only do this trade if he need another starting RB. LT is not worth giving up for gore (he is solid but not as good as LT) and L. Jordan (he is not reliable in Oak offance) and Gates (he is great TE but his QB doesn't throw much). http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244118
coops58 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I think team A giving up LT is not getting enough back, based on my reaction that I would not make this trade wether you put Jordan or Foster in the deal. Look at LT's upcomming schedule vs. the one he just faced and you can expect him to take off. I would say the receiver coming back to the LT owner would need to be a top 10 receiver to balance the trade. Thanks for mine.
kellyaucoin 0 Posted October 14, 2006 the only reason to block a trade would be if you suspect collusion. lots unbalanced trades go thru simply because some people are better at fantasy football thaan others. and sometimes people just make boneheaded mistakes. but thats part of the game. people shouildnt be protected from themselves. and in this case, i wouldnt trade away LT for that package, but i dont think the trade is crazily unbalanced. and i could be wrong. im a Michael Turner owner so i actually hope LTs output diminishes more. but im not counting on it. please see mine; http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244133 thanks
prostollo 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I am not sure who wins this trade. No veto Tomlinson vs Gore We know the anwser to this. LT White vs Jordan It may be for the Raiduds but Jordan still handles the rock. Randle el vs Gates This isnt even close. Gates by a landslide. So stop your whinning and let the owners manage there teams. Why does every trade with LT, LJ, or SA have some one crying for a veto or is this fair question. nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Hey Prostollo i'll thank you to stop replying to my posts if you're gonna be an idiot and bad mouth me. For your info i'm team B just wanted to find out what people thought before I offered it. Geez some people... Peace
BigDaddy1978 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Team B (you) is losing out on more just for the privilege of having LT on your team. Frank Gore may not be high profile, but the guy is getting the job done. Gates is money right now too, and Rivers has said he plans to get him the ball even more. If your team is losing or something, that's one thing, but don't mess with success. D~Loot 0 Posted October 14, 2006 B has put up a lot better numbers when added up. L.T. is the man, but Gore's been the bigger man. If I didn't hate the Raiders so much, I would definitly go with group B.
Nanda 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I don't see anything unfair about this trade. The winner is whoever ends up with LT.
