bobpate17 0 Posted October 14, 2006 my team is in my sign. I need little upgrade at QB. right now palmer is buy low candidate. guy offered a trade to me palmer for Gore. He gets gore. I don't think I am going to accept that trade but I m thinking about offering. A. Green and Gore for T. Bell and Palmer. is this fair trade??? do u think palmer will be back. he was only sacked 16 times last year and he has been sacked 14 times in last 4 games. If I don't do either those trade then should I pick up M. Joes-Drew and drop Green? or should I wait one more week when green returns? but jones-drew might be gone by then. Leave a link and I will ans yours.
AnaheimRams 28 Posted October 14, 2006 Just wondering... What the he!! is wrong with Carr? He's on of the highest scoring QB's in FF right now. I don't see that guy going for that trade either. A Green for T Bell is even more unbalanced than Gore/Palmer.
RedzoneMonster 107 Posted October 14, 2006 I would make that trade in a heartbeat if I were you. I dont know if he would go for it though. Palmer is an obvious upgrade from Carr and T. Bell is getting his shot to start and has a great schedule ahead of him. I'd put him about even w/ Gore now. Make it if he says yes! I would make that trade in a heartbeat if I were you. coops58 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I would not worry if it is balanced. If you can get this trade, make it. Bell will likely outscore Gore for the rest of the year and Palmer will add to you team. I agree with an earlier comment, Carr should be your starting QB any week you think Hou will fall behind and need to throw to catch up (most weeks). mine........ http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...w_post&f=
prostollo 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I would make the trade with bell and Palmer. No way I would trade gore for palmer straight up. Those that are saying that Palmer is an upgrade over Carr are in love with there preseason rankings. While Palmer has alot of upside Carr has by far out produced him. This is fantasy football all that matters is stats and right now carr has them palmer doesnt.

No, don't give up Gore for Palmer.....Carr is good enough that you don't give up Gore for Palmer. Bell and Palmer would be nice, but I doubt the guy who has them will give them up for Gore and Green, Green is all but done with football. I still have plenty of faith in Palmer, but I have alot more faith in Gore.
kellyaucoin 0 Posted October 14, 2006 no on Gore for Palmer. i would definitely make the trade youre considering. TBell (as much as i, a MBell drafter, hate to admit it) is pretty great), that shoudl be pretty even there, and getting Palmer is a plus. definite buy low candidate. as for MoJoDrew, get him if you can. lots of upside. thanks for mine
cougars 0 Posted October 14, 2006 see if you can do that trade but if not then go for Drew-jones

rottytiny 7 Posted October 14, 2006 If you can get Bell and Palmer for Gore and Green you have to make that trade, IMO. Good luck.

And then there's Ahman Green for Tatum Bell, which I'm sorry, but that just makes me giggle. You can offer it to him and see what happens, but frankly I'd be very surprised if he went for it. You might consider figuring out something else to offer in on the deal when/if he refuses.
big blue bingo bob 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Stick w/ Carr. I like him. So does Andre Johnson. I dont think they will do that trade anyway. gore for Palmer sounds good but Tatum for Green is a no go. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244141
Puntarelli 0 Posted October 14, 2006 If you can get Palmer and Bell for Gore and Green it would certainly help you at QB, and I think it would be an upgrade at RB for you as well, but that's my opinion
Groundhog 24 Posted October 15, 2006 Two thoughts: 1. You're not really in need that badly for a QB upgrade. Carr is actually putting up very respectable numbers. Although I agree with you that Palmer is undervalued right now and can be obtained. 2. Your Gore-Ahman for Tatum-Palmer deal is pretty lopsided in your favor. Ahman is fighting injury problems, and he plays for a team that could pretty frequently have to abandon the running game because they get behind early. And Tatum is now the clear #1 back in DEnver, which is something I never thought I would write, on a team that will run the ball a LOT this season. If he accepts this trade, great, but I don't think he will.
itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 15, 2006 I think i would make the trade gore for palmer. You have solid RB's and ahman green can start for you depending on match-ups. As a Carr owner i hope he continues his great play but i have a feeling he wont stay at this pace. Later on i think he'll be a start based on match-ups but carson palmer will regain form and tear ###### up. A lot of people have been saying Carr has thus far out-produced palmer but you have to also look at future projectoins. Can carr keep this up? Will Palmer pick it up? Will this be the year carr gets an injury from one of his MANY sakcs? Will palmer re-injure his knee? If you could get gore for palmer and a decent wr or if you swap your no 2 for his no 1 that would be a goold trade. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244187

niner16 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I don't make the Palmer/Gore trade. But I like your Green/Gore for Palmer/T Bell. This entirely upgrades your team and doesn't sacrifice much! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244236
richchavez 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Make the trade, for Palmer/Bell.........
Natural Lights 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I would make the trade, and I would dump Green for Drew. Can not imagine he would be dumb enogh to give you Tatum and Palmer...

Leave a link and I will ans yours. MJD is only getting 1/3 of the carries in JAX, Green will either get most of them or he'll be hurt and on the There is no way i would part with Bell and Palmer if you offered me Gore and Green, unless i had a very desperate need for a RB If you would post the roster's involved I would be more than happy to help you make fair and balanced offer that would benefit both teams. But some people are just unreasonable, and it makes for difficult trading at times. I have found that the key is to make them believe they are getting the better deal. But I have only dealt with people i know personally, and they have their buttons that i can push Here is a link to some trading advice that you might find very helpful in the future: a question on trading philosopy......
