Offer this trade? Rudi+Berrian for Portis?

See my Yahoo 2-QB league roster in my sig...standard scoring.

 

Love Berrian, but I'm reasonably deep at WR and Portis down the stretch could be huge. Would this be a fair offer? Too much? Can you suggest a better one for both teams?

 

Here's the other guy's roster (I'm 6-1, he's 4-3):

 

QB - Delhomme, Grossman (Huard, Green)

RB - Portis, Westbrook (A Green)

WR - A Johnson, Furrey, Cotchery (B Wade, Burleson)

TE - Heap (Miller)

K - Rackers

DEF - Seattle (Indy)

I'm also thinking of trading for Portis at this point. A couple things I'm considering....first, Portis sprained his ankle in the Indy game Sunday. Reports are saying he's in a brace but should be back for Dallas (Week 9). Also, Portis has a bye this week. Overall, if I was the other team, I would take the trade. I think you're offering a lot but if you think Portis will stay healthy and is going to produce on a bad team, I would go for it.

Thanks. I was also thinking Rudi + Stallworth rather than Berrian, but I don't think that would do it. Berrian is a good hook since he's got Grossman...maybe I could ask for a lesser WR back.

I would hold off, I am not sure if Portis is going to finish the season.

I think you can afford to lose Berrian .. Rudi'supcoming schedule is quite brutal .. I would do the trade..

Certainly - you have to like Portis' upside and I think he'll be fine in time for the playoffs. You can do without Berrian with Stallworth back soon to cover your two stud WRs.

With Harrison, Owens, and Stallworth, you don't really need Berrian .. I also think Portis will be an upgrade over Rudi given that Perry is back too.
