PaintGuru 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Ok here is my team: QB: Carr RB: Tiki, Chester, and T Jones WR: Fitz, Glenn, Jennings, Furry, Kennison, Williamson, Bryant Johnson TE: Gates K: Gould Def: Cincy I was offered the following possible trade scenarios. I'm trying to move T Jones due to injuries in the WR ranks. T Jones for either Colston or Braylon Edwards or Muhammad or perhaps Chad Johnson T Jones and Fitz for Chad Johnson and Lamont Jordan Any thoughts on these trades and which one would help me in the long run? I'm 5-2 right now, but with Fitz and Jennings out for a little while, I'd like to get another solid WR for the playoff run. Thanks.
ffdork24 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I like the Jones and Fitz for Chad and Jordan trade. Chad will immediately help at WR and I would be really surprised if OAK actually stuck with the RB by committee thing they tried last week. Jordan should be a great buy low player with his easy schedule towards the playoff run. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247643
delusional247 0 Posted October 25, 2006 tough one here... i think i would hang onto fitz
Djurynk 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I would consider the first trade and keep fitz as well. LJ sucks this season and raiders what can you say. If its me i hang-onto TJ and look elsewhere waiver wire to a fill-in this week for furrey who has really stepped up this year and until jennings is 100%. WRs are easier to fill-in than stud RB's, in my opinion. Please see mine. RB/WR advice. GOOD LUCK!!!
PaintGuru 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Thanks for the input. Any thoughts on which WR to target from the first group?
jbogli 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Thanks for the input. Any thoughts on which WR to target from the first group? If you trade Jones you are at a real risk if Tiki or Chester get hurt. If you are ok with that risk then cool. Of those guys i would go after colston. I would keep fitz. You could also trade tiki or chester for a stud wr like holt, or smith. It is going to start to get cold in Chicago and they will start running more.
RCBlitz 0 Posted October 25, 2006 If you are set on making a move then Colsten of the group you listed would be my vote. I think sitting tight might be your best option since you are 5-2 already. If you move Jones and one of the top two get hurt then you are done and your WR's are not that bad. When Fitz and Jennings are healthy that is a nice 1-2 and with guys like Furrey and Kennison to platoon you should be looking good. Good luck. here is mine- http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247684 thanks.
bobpate17 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I would go with first trade. get either colston or chad. chad has taugh schedule ahead of him and coslton's schedule is not too bad. plus the way cinccy is playing I would go with colston. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247689
PaintGuru 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Thanks all. Maybe I will stand pat for the time being. He is good insurance for potential injuries.
gold_finger 0 Posted October 26, 2006 If you could get Chad Johnson for Thomas Jones, then that's a great deal IMO hoping Johnson at least steps it up sometime. Thanks for mine.
