TRADE OFFER>>>

Recommended Posts

12-man league (I've had the easiest schedule...he's had the hardest)

My team:(6-2)

QB's-J.Delhomme, B.Favre, J.Kitna

RB's-C.Portis, W.McGahee, A.Green, MJD

WR's-T.O., R.Wayne, R.Brown, C.Henry

TE- J.Shockey

K- A.Vinatieri

DST-Seahawks

His team:(5-3)

QB's-P.Manning, D.Brees

RB's-T.Barber, F.Taylor, T.Henry

WR's-A.Johnson, P.Burress, S.Moss, A.Bryant

TE- D.Clark

K- J.Wilkins, R.Longwell

DST-Bears, Giants

He offered me:

D.Brees and the Giants DST for

T.O., R.Wayne, and C.Portis

(which was obviously B.S.)

...so I am comtemplating counter-offering with

T.O., R.Brown, C.Portis, and Seahawks DST for

D.Brees, Giants DST, and A.Johnson

The only thing I am worried about is the fact that his only weakness is at the RB position...do I make him unstoppable with this trade??

How about J.Kitna and W.McGahee for

D.Brees and the Giants DST??

...well put it this way...rank my RB's in order...A.Green, C.Portis, and W.McGahee

I really like Green's and McGahee's matchups weeks 14-16 (playoff time), so it would be hard to let either one of them go based on that thinking

...with that being said what do you think about this trade offer??

i wouldn't make that trade, you're solid all around...A. Johnson would be a great pick up but you're set at WR, you've got 4 #1 receivers. you could use a stronger QB but not at the price of giving up decent RBs. you do need to pick up a better D however, the hawks aren't what they should be. i'd still say you're good with what you have.

Whatever dude...there's ALWAYS room for improvement...unless you're 8-0 starting

P.Manning, LJ,LT,T.Holt,R.Wayne,A.Crumpler, R.Gould, and the Bears DST...you should always be looking to make your team better....

SO...Either give some USEFUL advice or don't comment at all

Don't make either deal. I'm way against dealing with anyone who may end up coming back to haunt me in the playoffs. There is no need to take a chance of making his team better, and you are plenty solid as is. If you're going to deal - do it with someone closer to the bottom of the standings.

Thanks for answering mine.
