Trade Help! .. Green for Coles

A trade has been proposed to me as follows

 

I give A Green (GB)

I get L Coles (NYJ)

 

I think I am going to reject it. How should I make a counter offer? See my and his teams below.

 

 

My team

QB: Bulger

RB: Alexander, Chester Taylor, Ahman Green, L Jordan, R Droughns

WR: Harrison, Roy Williams, Jennings, Chris Henry

TE: Desmond Clark, LJ Smith

 

His team

QB: Hass, Grossman, Delhomme

RB: Gore, Ronnie Brown, McGahee, DeAngelo Williams, Rhodes

WR: Wayne, Holt, Coles

TE: Heap, Winslow, Vernon Davis

 

He definitely needs a RB to take McGahee's place while he is out.

 

 

We start 1 QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 FLEX W/R, 2 TEs each week.. PPR league

PPR i would not trade green for coles. I don't think i would anyway. I don't really see how this trade helps you since you have a flex position anyway and get PPR. Green must be a good #2 back then

I totally agree .. I didn't think the trade would help me, but I would like to make a counter offer. If I were to give Green to him, what should I ask in return?

I dont like that trade, you just dont need it. Unless your willing to package something to get Wayne, I dont see how you can come out getting full value for Green, and still filling some needs.

Hmm. You're hardly stacked at RB anyway. Actually, I don't know why you'd want Coles anyway, seems to me he'd be fighting it out for #3 WR status with Jennings and Henry. You're weak at TE, though, and he has two quality ones. I'd offer him Jordan or Droughns first, if I were you, either for Coles or one of his TEs. If you do give up Green, make sure you get something that would really benefit you (like Heap).

I agree, I do not particulary like that trade either. I'd stick with what you got.

I don't think Coles helps you much, Try an offer like Green, Henry & LJ for Rhodes, Wayne & Winslow or something along those lines.

keep green, the jets offense is sputtering
