Wiserman20 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Im fighting for my life right now in my $$ FF league with one foot dangling over the cliff of "missing the playoff cut". This week it gets worse for me as I am playing #1... sigh.... My Team Projected Starters Drew Brees - QB ( I think it's time Rex GROSS man my other QB rode the bench...) Tiki Barber - RB1 ( probably not a great match-up against the Bears but... best I have) Jamal Lewis - RB2 (saved him and he is starting to show dividends... may break out against Ten) RB/WR - ??? Marvin Harrison - WR1 (hopefully a repeat this week against Buff) Torry Holt - WR2 (hopefully a big game against Sea) TE - Desmond Clark (hopefully sees more throws now that Berrian is out) D/ST - NYG ( No Yuppy Grossmans? hope they get to Rex...) K - Robbie Gould His Team that leads the league (Projected Lineup) Philip Rivers although I suspect he may use Jake Delhomme LT... hence leading the league Willie Parker... Steve Smith Muhsin Muhammad Deon Branch Alge Crumpler Ravens D/ST Jeff Wilkins Do I stand a chance? Please take my poll and help me with my RB/WR.. I want to at least put up a fight... Reggie Brown WR Eagles faces Washington Laurence Maroney RB Pats faces NYJ Mike Bell RB Denver faces Oak Marion Barber RB NYG faces Bears Maurice Jones-Drew RB faces Houston Mike Furrey WR faces San Fran Chris Henry WR Cinci faces San Diego Terry Glenn WR Dallas faces Arizona Link your question and I will gladly help
Cherry Man 0 Posted November 7, 2006 i think you can put up a very good fight if the games play out right for you...but yah in games like this you have to go for the person who is most likely to have a big game so i say maroney... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251593
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Maroney kills me though... Dillon is getting all the redzone love.. and he has had only one big game against Cincy...
nosferatu9368 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Check the injury status on Tatum Bell, if he is out i'd play Mike Bell. Oakland lets up lotsopoints vs RB's. If Tatum is gonna play i'd probably go with Terry Glenn or MoJo depending on your league scoring. Good Luck Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251568 Peace... ThatDude 12 Posted November 8, 2006 I like Maroney.
miggidy 0 Posted November 8, 2006 IMO- Maroney vs. Jets or Glenn vs. az or Furrey vs. SF in that order. I think Jones will get most of the action against SF, but Kitna is throwing like a wild man. Glenn is the true go to guy in Bid D, TO is hype.
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 If Glenn weren't banged up I would agree with Glenn against Zona but... he is looking slow from injury and T.O. is in Romo's head... I'm not sold on Maroney... lots of fans but I have used him in the past couple weeks with little return... He is averaging 4pts over the last 4 games in my league. ( Rushing/Passing/TD's)
AnaheimRams 28 Posted November 8, 2006 If Tatum is out or limited... you gotta go with Mike Bell. But... that means you gotta put some trust in Shanahan. Scary!
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I was leaning towards Mike Bell or Reggie Brown... Both have the potential to go off... I feel Donovan will have something to prove after a couple rough games and coming off a bye.
Guest JahRasta311 Posted November 8, 2006 Thanks for mine...I already voted though, I voted for Mike Bell.
Sux2butoo 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Furrey will get more catches and more options vs. a weak SF. If a QB plays like Kitna you will see dividends with Furrey over time http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251632
sa37no1 0 Posted November 8, 2006 through my vote on maroney...
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I voted for MJD.. thanks for mine..
WKTSWAY 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I think the choice is between Maroney and Bell. I would go with Maroney either way myself, but if Tatum is OUT for sure, Mike Bell will be the safer choice...but safe doesn't mean points...you have to go with risk over reward this week so you can get a win. Thanks for answering mine.
dalie 2 Posted November 8, 2006 Maroney 1st, then M Bell (with Tatums injuries) then MJD (he gets decent #'s WITH Fred, and huge if Fred goes down) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251640
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Bump Can anyone sell me on Maroney... just not seeing it.. I see potential but only one break out game this year.. M. Bell is def an option but I have a funny feeling it will be a two man show against the Raiders and say what you will.. that defense didnt look all that bad Monday Night. MJD doesnt raise my eyebrows either...
