No offense, but I would prolly not do the trade .. may be it's because I am not a big fan of Henry ..OK now let's look at the trade position by position ..

 

Foster for Henry .. I like Foster better, but it may be just me

Gates for Smith .. Gates is still the guy

Evans for Colston .. Colston wins here

PHI for TAM .. no major difference

 

So at the end I will still not do it .. sorry!

I like it becasue Williams is now healty for Carolina and that will eat into Foster, I love Colston, I got him as well and LJ Smith is always a target of Mcnabb. The defenses are probably a wash. Nice trade and good luck this week too!

I like the trade. I think you improved your starting roster. You may have traded away some of your depth at WR/TE but I think Colston will out preform Gates the rest of the way just has he has done all year. If this were a TE required league I may feel different about the trade but with WR and TE bunched I like it.

I like the trade. We are about a month away from fantasy playoff time and big time players are what wins titles. Foster would not have been that player for you but the way that Colston has been playing makes him a big guy. I like the trade. Good job.

I like the trade:

 

RB: Foster is slightly better but not too much to make a big difference

WR: Colston is better than Evans by a long shot

TE: Gates is better but LJ has the potential to make some big plays

D: Wash..Dosent matter for you w/ Chicago D

 

Bottom Line: You got a better WR & he got a better TE!

I like it, don't love it. Colston rocks Gates. Foster is slightly better than Henry but only because of the team around him. I like Lee Evans in the right matchup but hopefully LJ will get enough TD's to make up for the yardage difference.

I wanna thank you all for your opinions.

Another thing about this trade is there is a chance I am gonna drop LJ Smith and get Joey Galloway, the owner who had him dropped him last week as he has hit panic mode. I honestly think this makes my team alot better.

pros: you get Colston...cons: you lost Gates which is capable of COlston #s, you lost Reed with Evans kidney bruised his the only hope and Phillys D has been pretty solid this year.

 

I don't think Henry will be the answer in Tennessee...see week 9.

That's quite a mix of players. I agree with most that getting Colston was the key to it being good.
