Playoff Run Trade Talks PLEASE HELP..

Hey gang,

 

I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE the deal below for Gore as I think keeping him is best. So what do u think about?

I can trade Betts for Cotchery and Delhomme. So I would get another QB to go with Eli and Mcnair as well as a #2-3 WR. I am seriously considering this deal as Cotch has a nice schedule and jets will be throwing.

 

I can also trade Jax def and Williamson for Bennet and Indy def. This is basically a wash but my defense would be horrible unless i made another move or got lucky on the wire.

Back again and I am in desperate need of a trade to make my playoff push. I am at 5-5 right now and in the middle of the pack needing to go 2-1 at worst to have a shot. I am in a league with PPR, yardage, average and tds scoring. I am desperate at WR right now and finally have a little RB depth to maybe make a big trade. Here is what I am looking into...

 

I have Edge, Gore, Dillon, Betts, Jacobs at RB(2 start) and Chad J, Glenn, M. Jones, Williamson, Hurd, Welker at WR(3 start) and Eli/Mcnair at QB(1 start).

 

So my WR's are horrific outside of Chad now and My RB's are decent. I have made a few offers trying to get a middle level WR #2 #3 guy for Betts/Dillon or Edge but nothing has come yet. I am scared to lose Gore as he seems to be my big score getter. But..

 

I have been offered HOLT and Droughens or Jamal Lewis for Gore and Eli or Mcnair. I am kind of considering it but with the Rams o-line hurting I am not sure Bulger will have the time to get Holt any big plays. Their schedule is ok but I dont see as many big games from him although he will still be solid in a PPR league. The question is if I can handle losing Gore and say Eli as I planned to start Mcnair the next few weeks anyways. My starting RB's would then be Edge and Betts probably with Dillon replacing matchups and maybe Jamal. That is pretty weak but Betts could be big in a PPR league. My WR's would be Holt, Chad and Glenn which is very solid once Glenn is back and I can use Hurd until he is back. So what do you all think? I just hate giving up Gore but I cant stay with the WR's I have right now and make the playoffs. Any opinions would be great and LEAVE A LINK as I always answer all!!!

I would take that trade and give up Gore & McNair.

The drop off from Gore to Dillon should be made up by adding Holt over most of your WRs.

Honestly, I think I would hold tight. Gore has a nice Playoff schedule and he is the motor that runs the 49er offense. Holt would be nice, but I agree with your concerns, I think his big games are behind him.

I really dont want to give up Gore as he was my big draft pick and has earned his top RB status. I really want a 2nd tier WR for dillon or betts but still working on that.

 

I was also offered D. Bennet and Indy Def for my Williamson and Jax def and may do that as well. What u all think? The guy wanted a better defense and asked for Jax and I think Bennet is not that reliable but defintly a starter on my team. What do my fellow ff'ers think?

I would hold tight too and keep Gore. You'll probably find a better deal if you send out more offers.

 

Do you really trust Bennett right now? I'm not sure I do enough to have IND as my defense....

Hold tight. Try to get somebody for McNair/Dillon or McNair/Betts. If you could get Holt for this, I would pull the trigger. I think your team is worse if you make the trade. Please help with mine.

I wouldn't do that trade Gore is solid and his schedule is cake down the road... I don't know how bad losing Pace will hurt Bulger and Holt... Let the other guy figure that out...
