slpbaseb12 0 Posted November 29, 2006 standard scoring 12 team, 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex, 1 te, etc Kitna, Vince Young, Alex Smith FWP, Ahman, Washington, Lundy CJ, Boldin, Roy Williams, others Crumpler etc. A couple things.. Kitna and the lions have been on a steady decline, while Vince has been scorching. Young is at Indy, so they will most likely be playing catchup, and Kitna is at NE. I have Vince in right now, am I crazy? Also, CJ is starting the rest of the way out, no questions asked. So do I play 3 WR's or sit one (probably Roy) and play Ahman Green against the Jets. Boldin is at St. Lou, and WIlliams is at NE. I would normally play a RB over a WR anytime but the Jets limited Lundy to 11 yards last week, and Roy Williams is all they got in NE. But if I start Roy, I might as well start Kitna. Leave a link, will help with yours.
thesaint78 0 Posted November 29, 2006 I would start Ahman and Vince, it is going to be cold when Ahman plays which may get him some more carries and I dont see GB playing from behind this week. Start Vince, Kitna will probably be playing from behind but he will probably turn the ball over alot, I dont foresee to much from him, with Vince you can also get rush yards. Bishop82 61 Posted November 29, 2006 Young FWP CJ Bolden Williams Just because you start williams doesn't mean you should start Kitna. Young will defiantly out score Kitna.
bugman 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Young FWP CJ Boldin Ahman FWP will run on Tampa, CJ a must start, Cards - Rams should be a passing affair, Ahman will run on Jets porous defense - you saw how good NE's secondary can be at times - so dont play Roy See mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=256595&hl=

PudgeDawg 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Young FWP CJ Boldin Ahman I agree with the bugman... Ahman Green IS NOT Wali Lundy...he should have a good day against the J-E-T-S! thanks for mine
Underbruin 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Out of your main dilemma (whether to start a 3rd WR or one of your RBs at Flex) I think you should go with Green over Williams. Ahman's been a threat both on the ground and catching out of the backfield this season, and should have a big game against the Jets. The Jets have been ATROCIOUS against almost all featured backs this season, and quite frankly Lundy's about the only one they haven't given up like 100+ yds and/or a touch to. As for the QB situation, I might propose an unusual option - consider Smith. New Orleans will get ahead early and put points on the board, and the Niners will have to throw to try and get back into the game. Gore's been a beast lately, but I'm not sure they'll be able to afford giving him the ball 30 times on the ground. Avoid Kitna for sure. As for Vince, he's starting to show flashes, but a rookie QB going up against the Colts on the road? I'm just not sure that's such a great recipe for success, even if he is a solid runner going against a very weak Indy rush D. Good luck, and thanks for the help with mine. Fonzie2004 0 Posted November 30, 2006 QB - V. Young RB - FWP WR1 - CJ WR2 - Boldin Flex - Roy Williams TE - Alge I am starting FWP each week on my team in my 12 team performance league. I lost to Vince Young last week and I'd start him in a minute if I could. Initially I had Ahman as the Flex player, but the Jets DEF is underrated a bit, so roll the dice with Roy.
