C. Taylor, M.Barber, and L. Maroney

Recommended Posts

I've got Steven Jackson as my #1 RB ...

But for my #2 RB and Flex, now I must choose between:

Chester Taylor vs Chicago

L. Maroney vs Detriot

Marion Barber vs NY Giants

Which 2 out of these 3 would you start ???

Taylor vs Chicago? Screw that!

I'd play Maroney & MBIII. Both are coming on strong the last few weeks. Tuna really like MBIII and Maroney is the favored back in NE. Plus he returns kicks which is gravy if you get points for return yards like I do.

Thanks for the reply.

Maroney and Barber III. Maroney will get more carries this week and has looked good the past two weeks. Barber gets all the rushing TD's!!!

Maroney(he'll have a good week I play vs him), and I like Barber, but you never know if Jones will get the looks. Taylor should have a good week @ Chic. Dont look for Johnson to throw too much outside the dome. Id say Taylor and Maroney

Taylor will get a lot of carries and will always get the goaline carries, Matchup overrated remember Ronnie Brown in Chicago 157 yards

Barber III only gets about 8-10 carries a game but usually a TD

Maroney will do good this week and get most carries

Id go with

Taylor and Maroney

Conventional wisdom says don't play any rb vs the vaunted Bears 'd'. Screw conventional wisdom! As Eric Karbel said, 'Taylor should get 30 carries today'. Even if the Bears slow him down, he should get somewhere around 90yds rushing. Maroney is the easy choice. He's been getting more of the work load over old man Dillon. He's probably licking his chops vs the lowly Lions. This could actually be his best game as a pro. Barber has what 8 tds this year? I just don't like starting a guy that gets goal line and occasional rushing opportunities. Go with Maroney and Taylor.

Thanks for answering mine.

I would go Maroney and Barber. I know it is hard to bench Chester but I really can't see him doing much today in the windy city. Thanks for mine.........Good luck

Being that you're starting S.Jackson already I think I'd stick with Taylor and Maroney. Barber may do well but I don't know that going in, so I'd have to start the players who I know will be on the field.

P.S. Everyone feels that Maroney and Jackson will have solid games today, so if you want to start Barber who could be a sleeper than do it. But for me I think Taylor is the safest play.

I live in N.J and I can tell you this...The weather right now at 11.25 am is really nice. The Giant/Dallas game is at 4Pm but I still think the weather will be fine. The sun is out in full force right now.

Perfect football weather if you ask me.

Good Luck!

Go with who leads his DIVISION in TDs - that is M. Barber.

Otherwise - I'd probably go with Maroney. Similar to IND and Addai, NE is becoming Maroney's team.

Thanks for help with mine.

I know the results are known.... but there are probably only 5 0r 6 RB's in the league that you start against Chicago.

and Chester taylor isnt one of them.

I woulda went for Maroney vs detroit and Barber Vs NYG.

Barber has turned out to be a very good fantasy option for anyone who has had the guts to start him. Especailly against teams like Tampa and Indy who have have lots of speed, but not so much size. Power backs are very effective against teams like this.
