RB help

Recommended Posts

I need to make the playoffs, and in order to do that I need to win this week.

I have Addai, many sites are saying to sit him this week vs Jax, Jones-Drew is on the waiver wire, and He tore up Indy last time they played.

Should I drop Maroney and get Jones-Drew or do you think adjustments will be made and Indy will shut down Jones-Drew?

Last time I sat Addai he had his break out game but lost alot of carries to Rhodes last week.

Let me know what you think, I really appreciate it.

I'm sure that the Jags will attack the weekness of the Indi Defense and that would mean a lot of running of the football. The only thing that could happen which would take that game plan away would be that the Indi offense is scoring points. The Jags do play Indi well but it would be a crap shoot vs Manning.

In this game I have a feeling that Manning will be throwing a lot which would make the Indi running game not all that great of a start this week. Peyton hasn't really lit it up yet and this could be the game where he does. On the other hand the Jags pull F.Taylor at the goal so MJD would probably be my choice.

This is a tough call.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply to my topic.

I'd start Maurice Jones Drew. Even though he's splittin carries with Freddy, he's the one who has been scoring. Indi's run Defense is Garbage...You know that! Addai had one fluke game where he had 4 TDs. That ain't happenin against Jax. Drew has been consistent. I don't believe he is still on your waiver wire. better go pick him up before someone else does.

I would go with MJ-D. Indi is giving up 160 ypg on the ground, ok 159.9, and 13 TDs. That's the worst in the league.

Jax is giving up 91.5 ypg and have only given up 7 TD's.

He is also starting to catch more balls (exept the Miami game). He's had a running TD in his last four games.

Good luck, thanks for answering mine.
