BigDaddy1978 0 Posted December 14, 2006 You're screwed! But of your available options, Johnson and Stallworth have the best chances for success. On paper there's no reason to start Berrian, but in reality, the Buccs Defense has been.....less than stellar. He might be an alternate option for Stallworth, especially considering that Stallworth will be up against Sam Madison, while Berrian won't have to deal with Ronde Barber, who will most likely be preoccupied with Moosey for the majority of the game, but there's always Derrick Brooks to consider also. Just some things for you to contemplate. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=259826
theyhateme 0 Posted December 14, 2006 like they say this is the time of year to not get fancy.start johnson and stallworth, regardless of matchup, neither of them are facing c.bailey so they both have a chance. thanks for mine

Boston_Birdman 0 Posted December 14, 2006 Andre Johnson @ NE - normally a must start- but this matchup is AWFUL! Donte Stallworth @ NYG - again...not a good matchup Bernard Berrian v TB Antonio Bryant @ SEA (tonight) ======================== - Tough to sit Andre Johnson but New England has given up the fewest passing TDs, (9), in the NFL this year - Philly is still fighting for a playoff spot, (and Garcia is playing well) so Stallworth is a viable option - Grossman looked "OK", (for him) agst the Rams on Monday night and Tampa Bay, (23 passing TDs allowed) is just the right team to face to keep Rex's confidence growing - Very high winds expected in the Seattle game tonight and running, (Gore and Alexander), will probably be the strategy of the evening I think that I would go with Stallworth and Berrian in your shoes.... Best of luck
kingbenny 0 Posted December 14, 2006 Id definitely go with Stallworth. I think that game is going to turn into a shootout. Id definitely NOT go with Bryant due to the monsoon like conditions he's facing. Berrian seems like a good choice, but you never know with Rex the Hex at the helm...if he throws 2 picks in Q1, they will run it for the rest of the game. And you are right, Johnson has a horrible matchup. So it looks like Stall and Berrian. Good Luck.
resser2 0 Posted December 15, 2006 I agree with everyone else. Lots of good input you have to go stallworth and berrion. Thanks for mine
The Train 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Lots of good advice. Start Stallworth no doubt... I'm starting him on my team because I think it will be a shoot-out and he is a great option for Garcia (did you see that spectacular pass and catch last week in the endzone). Rex Grossman is in need of practice and experience, and what better way to do it than against one of the worst pass defenses in the league? And who is his go-to guy? Berrian. Like everyone is saying, Stallworth and Berrian should be serious contenders. It hurts to bench a stud, but sometimes it must be done.
