AIR it OUT 1 Posted December 22, 2006 I hav Lt as the main man and was thinking of going Betts because of better match-up. I think they could have close to same amount of total yards, but Betts probably would have more rushin yards (instead of a 75-25 split) which kicks in a bonus. Rest of team is strong except for suspect QB Rattay maybe. all opinons welcome and I will answer yours
Wayne Fontes 0 Posted December 22, 2006 NOOOOOOOOOOOO. i have Betts and he's nice, but doesn't score much. Westy is a stud and always plays well in nationally televised games....you're set with LT and Westbrook please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261477
~Fantasy Girl~ 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I got 'em both playing and benched C.Taylor (thankfully!). I agree with your thinking. Betts will rush for the 100 + bonus. Westbrook may get 100, but it will be split. You have to think in terms of match-ups (assuming Betts is as good or better than Portis). You have 2 #2 RB's. One is at STL (who are No. 31 in run defense with 16 rushing touchdowns allowed. The Rams have allowed a 100-yard rusher in six of their past eight games.) Betts has scored 13/25/21/18 in last 4 weeks. or Westbrook at Dallas. The Cowboys defense has been exposed the past two weeks giving up more than 900 yards and 70 points.(Westbrook has scored 25/17/11/25 in last 4) I would go Betts with the 100+ against a proved WEAK D. Dallas has the ability to shut it down. See mine please: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261729
Nate Burleson's Burly Son 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Picture this- it's late Sunday, and you've just witnessed St Louis defeat Washington 35-10. Betts became an afterthought early in the 2nd quarter, as the Skins fell behind 21-3. He finishes with 43 yards and no tds. You have lost your championship game by 17 points, and now must spend Christmas day watching Westbrook handle the ball on 75% of the Eagles offensive plays. He'll probably have one of those 100 rushing, 100 rec. 2 td days.

You'll never forgive yourself if you start Betts and it doesn't work out for you. Thanks for the input on my QBs.

Ray_T 753 Posted December 22, 2006 Never bench your studs. Westy mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261753 Listen to the man. I played against a guy who benced Farve to put in T Jackson from Minnesota. He paid the price. best thing you can do in the final, is make sure you dont beat yourself by making dumb moves. If you are still in the playoffs, your best players are the reason you are there. Give them the benefit of the doubt and leave the last minute panic moves to your opponent. drewtangdmb 0 Posted December 23, 2006 I would say stick with Westy, particularly if you get pts for REC Eagles will get a lot of yds Monday, stick with him. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261763 Listen to the man. This is a tough call but I think Ladell will have the better numbers at the end of the day. I dont see St Louis blowing out the Skins at all, and I see Betts getting over 130 yards and a TD. But you really cant go wrong with either guy.
