c_Weezie 3 Posted July 9, 2007 I just finished drafting in my competitive 14 Team Keeper League (Keep 5). Starters: QB - Drew Brees RB1 - Willie Parker RB2 - Maurice Jones-Drew WR1 - Donald Driver WR2 - Lee Evans RB/WR - Julius Jones or Deion Branch (rotation) TE - Dallas Clark K - Stephen Gostkowski DEF - Green Bay Packers Bench: QB2 - Eli Manning RB3 - Julius Jones RB4 - Leon Washington RB5 - Michael Robinson WR3 - Deion Branch WR4 - Drew Bennet WR5 - Michael Clayton My Keeps: 1. Willie Parker 2. Maurice Jones-Drew 3. Drew Brees 4. Lee Evans 5. How'd I do ? Where can I improve on ? What deals should I look to do in order to improve ? *I've been considering packaging Eli + Lee Evans to try and get a stud WR from a team w/ no future QB.... pchris2 0 Posted July 9, 2007 I think you gotta keep Deion Branch and try to package the WR's if you can I just finished drafting in my competitive 14 Team Keeper League (Keep 5). ZO'Neal 0 Posted July 9, 2007 I personally have never been a fan of D Driver he is eventually going to drop off. I would try to package him with someone else and upgrade at WR. maybe even try trading him straight up for a mark clayton, vincent jackson, braylon edwards to add some up and coming youth to the position. Just so you know, Driver wasnt the 1st WR I took (I took him after Evans & Branch). The reason I drafted Driver was not to keep him, it was because he was easily the best player available the round I got him. People we're scared of his age but the guy is so solid and makes my team much better this year. I am looking to package Eli + one of my WRs to get a very good WR that would solidify my keepers. 1. Fast Willie 2. MJD 3. Brees 4. Evans or Branch 5. Stud WR ^Hopefully
ZO'Neal 0 Posted July 9, 2007 I am in the tampa area and I can tell you that maurice stovall will have a bigger impact this season than michael clayton
c_Weezie 3 Posted July 9, 2007 I am in the tampa area and I can tell you that maurice stovall will have a bigger impact this season than michael clayton Thanks for the heads up. It was the last pick in the draft and my sleepers had already been taken and Clayton was once a 1K yd WR. Dont worry, I'll be dropping him I just had to pick someone. rottytiny 7 Posted July 9, 2007 I agree with packaging Eli and someone for a WR upgrade. Team looks good, getting Driver as a #3 is great value, if your not a fan put him with Eli and see what you can get. I wouldn't drop him for Jackson or Edwards though. Not a bad lineup for a 14 team league, nice job!
