rottytiny 7 Posted September 5, 2007 Kitna Addai Brown Portis Harrison Colston I think in week one you should roll with your top players, the only position I would think of changing is QB, Kitna and Roth for week 1 is a tough decision, but I guess go ing with Kitna and those weapons is the way a lean. The Raiders def was ranked high last year but was it that teams just ran the clock out when the got ahead and who knows what Pitts offense will be like this season with the new coach. Kitna has to do something with those weapons doesn't he? I'm having a hard time deciding with Kitna or Eli but in your case I'd lean Kitna, Good luck. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284332
paul revere 0 Posted September 5, 2007 I'm feelin: Kitna Addai, Brown Colston, Harrison Berrian Not bad at all. If Portis shows up this year you could do some damage. I think Betts is going to hurt him early on.
1LAMBERT58 0 Posted September 5, 2007 QB: Kitna, Roethlisberger RB: Addai, R.Brown, Barber III, Portis WR: Harrison, Colston, Chambers, Berrian, Porter TE: Crumpler K: Nedney DEF: OAK QB - Think you are solid here. Even if Kitna does not perform like I hope - Ben looked good during preseason RB - Love Addai. Brown - not so hot on, but Barber and Portis have great potential (Portis if healthy) WR - Not a big fan of Chambers (no faith in his qb) or Porter - same reasin TE - Any others to put on roster if Harrington cant get hime ball? Like the team - but keep lookout at WRs and interaction with respective QBs http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284348
Parja 0 Posted September 5, 2007 KitnaAddai Brown Portis Harrison Colston Agreed. QB is really the only toss-up, but I don't really buy the Raiders' defensive ranking from last year. I also don't have a ton of confidence in Big Ben. I'd go with Kitna, at least for this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284347
Stewburtx8 67 Posted September 5, 2007 Week 1 I'd start: QB- Roethlisberger- Much better matchup vs Cleveland. The Raiders pass defense is very good, they have one of the top cornerback duos in the NFL. I think Kitna will turn it over a ton in this game, he just doesn't make good decisions. RB- Addai- the obvious RB- R.Brown- I just don't see how Jesse Chatman is in competition for carries here, think Brown gets most of the workload. WR- Harrison- no brainer every week WR- Colston- another easy start vs Indy and probably every week. Flex- Barber- This is close but I'm going to go Barber becuz I think Dallas will score points and Barber should be good for a TD or two. I don't like Portis this year, and especially to start the season. He is coming off the knee injury and I think that him and Betts will be in a full carries split atleast for a couple weeks. Also Miami has a pretty good defense.

y0immatt 0 Posted September 5, 2007 i agree with what was already said; QB - i like kitna mainly because he has CJ and has also proved to be a decent fantasy pts QB. personally i dont think roth is a good fantasy QB. RB - strong here but just have to hope that MB gets the goal line carries and porter stays healthy. WR - same as RB and i like porter as a sleeper pick DEF - here i would pick up another team, when oak faces SD or chicago, youll want to switch them out for a better matchup
