Start Kitna or Rothlsbrgr? CHI or DAL?

Recommended Posts

This is my 10 team, redraft, from the 4 spot, roster:

Leaning toward starting the guys in bold.

QB Jon Kitna DET 198 - @OAK 9/9/2007 4:15:00 PM

Ben Roethlisberger PIT 142 - @CLE 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

RB Deuce McAllister NOR 166 - @IND 9/6/2007 8:30:00 PM

Willis McGahee BAL 129 - @CIN 9/10/2007 7:00:00 PM

Frank Gore SFO 277 - ARI 9/10/2007 10:15:00 PM

Marshawn Lynch BUF 0 - DEN 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

WR Terrell Owens DAL 164 - NYG 9/9/2007 8:15:00 PM

Hines Ward PIT 117 - @CLE 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

T.J. Houshmandzadeh CIN 144 - BAL 9/10/2007 7:00:00 PM

TE L.J. Smith PHI 90 - @GNB 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

Heath Miller PIT 59 - @CLE 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

K Olindo Mare NOR 101 - @IND 9/6/2007 8:30:00 PM

Rob Bironas TEN 105 - @JAC 9/9/2007 1:00:00 PM

Def/ST Chicago Bears CHI 312 - @SDG 9/9/2007 4:15:00 PM

Dallas Cowboys DAL 151 - NYG 9/9/2007 8:15:00 PM

So, is OAK's pass defense really that good? Will Roth have a huge game passing vs. the lowly Browns?

Is Duece a better play than McGahee? Will Eli throw DAL 5 int's? Is the LT commercial with him slicing thru the Bears D foreshadowing?

EDIT - It's DEF/ST So Hester comes in to play here.

Leave your link. I'm at 'work' so I have plenty of time to respond.

I would start the Cowboys D. I would never start a D against the Chargers O. Not even the Bears. Kitna will still throw some picks but Detroit has no running game. The Steelers could go up big and just run it, cutting into Ben's numbers. I'd stick w/McGahee as he'll see more touches than Deuce, and Cinci's run D is no big deal.

You took the mightiest DEF for a reason. Start em.

I'd go with Kitna but think Ben should have a good week too. I like your other preferences as well, although isn't Housh possibly hobbled? Check on that.

Thanks for seeing mine.

I like Big Ben vs. Cleveland over Kitna vs. Oakland. Kitna is a turnover king.

I like the Dallas D vs. the Giants.
