nashtx 0 Posted September 15, 2007 My WRs look pretty solid but this weeks RBs are a crapshoot - 1. Which Indy defense shows up this week? Last years terrible run D or the D thatshut down NO. Does brown have a chance here? 2. Packers will open up on the NY secondary giving Jackson more room to run (I think) I've got Driver and he's healthy. Favre is supposed to go wild on NY. MJD is my other starter with Fred Taylor, Derick Ward on the bench.
PatrickT 0 Posted September 15, 2007 My guess is that Indy will stack the box and make Vince beat them with his arm. They have the personnel to pull it off. BJax. Mine
PatrickT 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I also go BJax. Indy will stack the box and make Vince beat them with his arm. Thanks for mine.
joeyt7 1 Posted September 15, 2007 Start B JAX for sure!! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287566

juanboy 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I've got the same dilemma, so I'm bumping this. Brown is tempting, but I don't want to chase after last week's points. Love the matchup for BJax, but he really didn't show much against Philly last week. Anyone want to make a case for Brown?
Bills04 56 Posted September 15, 2007 Try hitting NFL.com, and see how well TEN rushed against INDY last year! I've also got the same dilemma, with keeping B-Jax on my bench - for TWO teams! Please see mine; I've got two posts - "Started by Bills04." Thanks!
lilbear 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Indy are better against the run than. They have been deadly for the 2nd half last year and week 1 this year. Personally I would go with Jackson against a terrible NYG D. He will get the shot to prove he is the man and will breakout. Great receiver too. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287555
smedia 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I'd go BJAX... Indy will open it up and Vince will be throwing the ball to stay in game... thanks for mine
Xtreme Colts Fan 1 Posted September 15, 2007 I would chose C. Brown. Last week's Colts D was severly pumped up by the Rally in the circle, prime time game, championship banner ceremony. The regular colts D will be back in form Sunday giving up 200 on the ground but winning with Peyton throwing 4 or 5 tds. That will be most of the season i'm sure. The D is fast, but not big. Fisher has always been big on establishing the run, so Expect yardage from Brown and Fatazz White. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287576
throttlers 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I have Brown and am thinking of using him as a flex this week. However, I'd play Jackson over him. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287590
nashtx 0 Posted September 15, 2007 MoJo & Ward Man. I like Ward too (and wouldn't be surprised if he starts splitting time w Jacobs return) but I think against the Packer D...whoa. Shut down a more potent offense in Philly last week. I'll probably go with Jackson simply because NY is already beat up. Now if Brown goes off, well, $%@&@(. Two in a row and I'll take him off the bench. I almost need some guaranteed pints as my op is starting LT
vicksdawgs 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Don't play him becuase Bob Sanders is in now. Indy's D is completely different (good) when Sanders plays. They always suck when he's out
texasclaw 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I like Brown. I like his line better. I like that he's playing at home. I like the Titans to upset the Colts. Go ahead and flame, but that's what my gut tells me and I think people will be talking Titans next week and their ground game in particular.

I HOPE he rushes for 1200, 6-8 TDs and catches 50 for 500! I took him in the 15th round. (10 team league) You know, it's a lot like the Randle El situation. A big first week, never a huge performer. But with both, a second week of big production will go a long way in getting them pushed up on the roster. Wouldn't you say BJacks is the safer bet given NY D and Favre's intent to air it out? I hear ya, Nash. If Brown pans out, it could really help save a draft I didn't feel too good about. But, after reading this thread, I think I'm sticking with BJax this week. Bottom line: he's not in a timeshare, and the NYG defense is looking VERY shaky. After Favre establishes the deep passing game, I'm seeing multiple screens to BJax going for 15 yards or more. I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up more rec. yards than rushing yards. I doubt Brown gets as many carries as last week, and no way he averages 9 yds/carry. I think he WILL put up some more productive games this year, but everything sets up for BJax to redeem himself and Brown to disappoint.
