Bones40 0 Posted September 15, 2007 What's up with Fitzgerald? I had him last year and never could completely rely on him. I also had Javon last year and loved him the second half of the season and he looks to be continuing that trend. My feeling on Fitzgerald is that Bolden is beginning to emerge as the #1 target for Leinart. Plus, their new offense doesn't look to us the two WR's as well as the last. It pissed me off when they were on the goal line against SF and in a one WR set and it was Bolden instead of Fitz. Part of me wants to just bail on Fitz and grab Walker. The trade would be Fitz and Brandon Marshall for Javon Walker. Am I stupid for even considering this? I'll admit I'm in full panic mode because my three starting WR's came up with a total of 8 points (Fitz-6, Reggie Brown-2, Branch 0). I have Marshall, Curry and Muhammed on the bench. What do you think?
SaintShea 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Your right...I think Bolding is emerging as the #1 on that team. However, Leinart is still young and will continue to spread the ball around. I don't like the trade. That's a pretty competitive division and the Cardinals success this season is going to be based on Leinart's ability to get the ball to both Boldin and Fitz. I wouldn't bail on Fitzgerald yet. I still think he can produce for you. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287620
JOHN 316 7 Posted September 15, 2007 I have FITZ as well...along with Roy Williams and Burress.....no way I'd trade FITZ for what you are considering...right now at least, he's at a low....he can only get better....then you can unload him...but wait for his value to rise
P Park Pimps 1 Posted September 15, 2007 I think you got to hold onto Fitz and for that matter Brandon Marshall as well. I dont think AZ was ready for the 9er's D and caught them off guard. If you go through with this trade who are you left with? I believe Marshall could be a reliable #2 and if you're banking on Curry to keep producing just keep in mind they were playing the Lions. Thanks for answering mine, good luck.
