RayLewis52 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Come on, can i get some love? Also, I could counter this offer and ask for Plax instead of Colston. Thoughts?
OD99 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I would try to get Plax instead of Colston - he is clicking with Eli and they have just as bad a D as the Saints so they will be chucking it all day too. Other than that I think it is a good trade. The Chiefs are not the team of years past and LJ will struggle all season so getting Westy is an upgrade but you should be able to ask for more just because of the LJ name. Any thoughts on mine is appreciated: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288620
Madler 6 Posted September 20, 2007 Don't do it. Westbrook had a MRI today on his knee. Beware of his injuries. See mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288969
Neckturd 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Yes do it, IF Westbrook's knee is OK. I think he is going to be every bit as good as LJ this year. KC is horrible and I don't see it getting much better this year. There is no way I would give you Westy and Colston for LJ, so I would do the trade. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289001
ChiTownKev 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Is it PPR? Then definitely. Even if not, I'd lean towards yes. But I'd also try to go for Plax first, then Colston if it's rejected. Having Driver and Burress, or even Driver and Colston, would be solid, and you could use an upgrade at your No. 2 WR position. IF Westbrook's healthy, you'd still have a quality No. 1 RB who may end up finishing the year better than L.J. anyway.
chinombre 2 Posted September 20, 2007 I'd do it in a heartbeat. Westy will put up just as good of numbers AND you're getting a quality receiver. LJ is stuck on a crap team behind a crap line. We've already seen the results.
SirJiggabins 0 Posted September 20, 2007 If Westbrook wasn't injured, then this would be a no brainer to me, especially if you get PPR as Westbrook is McNabb's most targeted receiver sadly enough. Colston is getting all the looks in NO and that offense is too talented to be held down all season. I'm not a big burress fan, but if you prefer him over colston i still think its a great trade. However, this again depends on the severity of Westbrooks injury. If you can postpone this trade until after next week, then I would do that. Thanks for your help! mec411 0 Posted September 20, 2007 If Westy healthy, and its a PPR< then do it, no brainer IMO. see the bottom of my thread, thanks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289170
mdbomb 5 Posted September 20, 2007 I agree with most, and I'd do it.
sprewell43 0 Posted September 20, 2007 I agree with most, and I'd do it. Run to your nearest PC (or Commodore 64 equivalent) and hit ACCEPT as soon as you can. I'd trade LJ for Westbrook straight up, if the knee's okay. Getting Colston is just icing on the friggen cake.
steppdaddy 0 Posted September 20, 2007 The trade sounds good. I would still ask about Plax just for general purpose. If he says no to Plax, then say ok to Colston. here is mine - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289254
steppdaddy 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Thanks for the post. I own both Westbrook and L.J. It is hard to part with L.J. because of what he can do but right now the Chiefs just plain out SUCK!!! Westbrook will always be a threat on the ground and in the air. I have enjoyed having wetbrook the past few seasons but he will never play an entire season. If you are willing to take a chance on the knee and are confident that you can plug in a bench guy possibly two or three times this year then Westbrook will most likely score more than L.J. GEUH 2 Posted September 20, 2007 i would absolutely do it! even if you only get westy for 13 games total, he's a machine! and colston is a clear buy low candidate IMO...even if LJ does rebound to his normal monstrosity, i really don't think you can go wrong here. thanks for answering mine
