I have a bad RB situation. I have:

 

S. Jackson

B. Jacobs

R. Brown

Chester Taylor

Wynn (just got off waivers

 

My WRs are:

Owens

J.Walker

D. Jackson

N. Burleson

Hester

 

As you can see, I am in dire need of a solid RB performer. I have been offered:

 

Chambers and L. Jordan

for

Javon Walker and R. Brown

 

Both Chambers and Jordan have been huge so far, but will they continue to be solid, AND will Jordan split carries when Rhodes comes back? I can't believe I am entertaining this trade, but I feel like I have to do something since NONE of my RBs (including Jackson) are doing much at all. Should I do this trade or not???

You'll be upgrading at RB by quite a bit and downgrading just a little bit at WR. WR are more hit and miss so I'd take the deal in order to upgrade my RB. It seems like there is always a new WR popping up during the season to grab if Chambers dissappoints. But it looks like he will be fine

I wouldn't do it simply because you don't like your backs (i don't think your rbs are as bad as you say)...steven jackson will come out of this funk. i've seen a lot worse than what you have. at this point though, i really think lamont jordan might be a better bet than ronnie brown...obviously, walker is better than chambers...it's a fairly close offer -- i'd probably pass on it.

I wouldn't do it for the simple fact that rhodes will still carries away when he returns. So you would just downgrade in WR no upgrade at RB. Good luck

I shouldnt even be answering your question, due to the fact you called my man, TONY ROMO, Homo... I will give you a freebee and believe you hit the wrong button... This trade is tempting, but I think I decline. Javon is gonna be a stud this year and Chambers has just had good matchups. I think Chambers will have solid yards this year, but he is lacking in TD's which make up the bulk of points. I dont really like either Brown or Jordan, but this is where it gets hard. Jordan has been playing great, but being on the Raiders I just dont see him keeping up with his stats and who knows how Rhodes will affect his games. Ronnie has been a crapper this year so far, but he has a fairly decent schedule coming up and hopefully he will make up for his last two games or you could see a new RB in Miami. Overall a tough decision, but Id wait, it is still very early... GL

Think I'd pass on this right now. Strong chance of split duties when Rhodes is available, and Chambers just doesn't do it for me.

SJax will eventually get it going, don't fret about his stats. He's too good to hold down for long.

 

I don't like the trade - I think Lamont will see his stats go down when Rhodes gets off that suspension and Walker is too good to give up in this situation. Stay put and wait it out. Your RBs are not that bad.

Don't do it. Jordan missed a lot of games last year due to his back. Missed preseason games due to this and now is not practicing becuase of it. When Rhodes is back he'll steal carries and probably some starts. This guy is trying to sell him high.... Don't do it!

Its so hard to tell because no one is playing where are generally at. SJAX low, Lamont High. I would probably not make the trade. Sjax will def come aroun and you wont fret over RBs.
