vicksdawgs 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I've been burned by Kevin Curtis two weeks now. But he's playing Detroit and need 3 WRs in a PPR league. Pick 3 and see if you agree with me (top 3)> 1. D. Driver: Tough against SD but figuring they can't run the ball and will have to throw. Will be ugly but some production 2. D. Branch: Have to start him against Cincy... 3. B Marshall: Against JAX but thinking they have one good DB covering Walker so he'll get looks and run game should struggle a bit 4. Curtis: Against Detroit. Won first week by 2 points and lost by 1 pt week two no thanks to him. But he plays Detroit! 5. Crayton: Will probably lose the finger against Chicago... So my options feasible are Driver Branch Marshall,,, Branch, Marshall Curtis or Driver, Branch, Curtis.
theyhateme 0 Posted September 19, 2007 i think i would have to go with marshall, hes looking like a legitamate #2 wr,like you said he should get plenty of looks while walker should have his hands full, and curtis probably wont see many looks this year cuz mcnabb is RACIST! Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 19, 2007 well I hope I don't get you burned again by Curtis, but I would go him over Marshall this week. Something tells me that McNabb will get off and Curtis is a deep threat. Good luck check mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288858

cardinalempire 0 Posted September 19, 2007 well I hope I don't get you burned again by Curtis, but I would go him over Marshall this week. Something tells me that McNabb will get off and Curtis is a deep threat. Good luck Curtis a deep threat? In what world? The guy runs good routes to get open for quick passes and stuff underneath. He's not going to seperate from a DB to get deep and beat the secondary over the top. Curtis may have a nice afternoon against the Lions, but not because he's a deep threat. I'd start Marshall, BTW. I'm serioulsy considering to pick him up for my team. I already have him in another league. xbishopx 6 Posted September 19, 2007 Having watched most of the eagles two games McNabb has missed curtis open on a few deep balls already, I would go with Curtis, he gets open and with each passing week McNabb will get healthier and get his timing back. Plus with Westbrook possibly being out this week that means more short passes for Curtis.
vicksdawgs 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Do I dare keep Driver out and play both Curtis and Marshal???
throttlers 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I think your original post had them ranked just right. I'd go with Driver, Branch and Marshall. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288897
Connorsdad 38 Posted September 19, 2007 I would start your top 3 WR Goodluck!!! Driver, Branch, Marshall in that order
SirJiggabins 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Simply put, McNabb is crap right now. His accuracy has always been suspect, and this year it's worse than ever. At the same time, they do play Detroit which gave up 300+ yards to Josh McCown. I think Driver and Branch are obvious picks here, and Crayton is an obvious bench call. Between Marshall and Curtis it really could go either way. If you're more of a matchup guy, then you go with Curtis. If you're more of a past performance guy, you go with Marshall. Personally, I would go with Marshall as his QB has done well through the air this season and in Philly Westbrook is the #1 WR....and he WILL play. Thanks for answering mine! Wayne Fontes 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Driver, Branch,Marshall....they all had good games last week and should continue. Wait for Curtis to do something first

Grizzly 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Go with Marshall over Curtis, until McNabb starts looking better. I think his ACL is still preventing him from being McNab of old. Thanks for answering mine.

Trancedynasty 0 Posted September 19, 2007 i would actually go Driver, branch and curtis. Mcnabb looked at curtis quite a bit on MNF, and the eagles WR need to step it up, that said, i think they will do fairly well this week. Marshall is good but, Denver does have Walker and stokley too. I believe that curtis is almost equal to reggie brown. I didn't see Mcnabb target reggie brown more than curtis. see mine thanks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288972
The Train 0 Posted September 20, 2007 I'd keep the setup you have mentioned. Driver is a solid WR and Favre's #1 man by far; in PPR he's even better. I like your reasoning for the other two. I think I could score 20 fantasy points against Cinci D!
brownmikey 0 Posted September 20, 2007 I like your original three. As a Westbrrok owner, I'm worried that McNabb just doesn't have it right now. Safer play is with Marshall. FreddieMercury 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Thanks for answering mine. Go with your original rankings -- Driver, Branch, Marshall. You really have to wait and see with Curtis. I would wait until he has a good game before considering him.
