BostonPatriots 0 Posted September 21, 2007 I am a Maroney owner. Should I trade to get Sammy Morris? If so, who from my roster should I trade, Deshawn Wynn? My line up and league settings are in my signature. My other backs are Rudi and Benson. What TE should I start this week. Vernon Davis vs Pitt. He has made it clear he wants the ball more. Or start Owen Daniels vs IND. IND may pay more attention to him now that Johnson is out. Leave a link and I will help with yours. Thanks

I have him, but he is a stash on the bench, much like Morris. Its not like Morris is a starter or even a third back really, more of a handcuff no? But yeah, id handcuff Maroney, no doubt. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289361 thanks in advance
Vanillarainstorm 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Wynn is your best bet. Start Daniels. I know Davis wants the ball, but it's Alex Smith who has to stop sucking to find a way to get it to him
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 21, 2007 Deshawn Wynn is not the"#2" guy in GB. Brandon Jackson is the man between the 40's and Wynn will handle most of the rest including goal line. He gets receptions as well as carries. Just some info to help with your decision.
Groundhog 24 Posted September 21, 2007 I would trade Wynn for Morris, for several reasons. - Wynn had 10 carries for 50 yds, including one 38-yarder. Do the math for the rest of his carries. - Wynn was playing against a TERRIBLE Giants defense that mailed it in in the second half. - Morency is going to be back in a few weeks, and when he does, it will be another RBBC situation - very likely a three-man rotation, along with Jackson. - While it's probably true that Wynn will get goal-line carries, so will Morris. And Morris is going to see 10-15 carries a game, it seems like, as the clear #2 guy in NE. - Wynn's trade value will probably never be higher. And this week he is facing a tough run defense in the Chargers. For TE, I would stay with Daniels. VD may want the ball more, but ASmith is going to have to throw it to him through a pretty tough Steelers D on the road.
BostonPatriots 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Thanks for all the info and opinions. I submitted the trade Wynn for Morris straight up. NE has a good running game going, and if either one gets hurt the other will be the main guy and should perform well. I am a Pats homer as well.
Savior57 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Try to trade Wynn for Morris for insurance purposes, it makes sense for you, but keep in mind that neither has any big time value. Wynn is the third RB in GB and Morris has been in the league for forever and has never been more than a backup. His goaline carries give him SOME value but he probably wouldn't give a full load even if Marony got hurt. Thanks for seeing mine!
