philodocious 0 Posted September 25, 2007 I have Kitna going against the Bears, but I also have Big Ben Roethlisberger who is playing at Arizona. Then, I can go with The Bears defense (against my hero, Kitna) or Dallas' DEF vs. St. Louis. I believe that even if Grossman does start for the Bears, if he f's up just once, he coming out. That being said, I think the Bears D won't have to be on the field as much as we saw against the Cowboys. This will give them enough rest to stay fresh and maybe not get picked apart by the fantastic Detroit passing attack. Do I start Kitna <cuz the Bears sucked against a similar passing O like the Cowboys> and then Dallas' DEF? Or do I put my faith in the Bears this weekend, start their DEF, and play Roethlisberger against ARZ? Help me help you.
dpbuddha 9 Posted September 25, 2007 I made the mistake of playing Roethlisberger over Romo last week, never again...stick with your best QB and play Kitna. I also would take the Dallas D this week. Thanks for getting mine.
ThatGuy25 0 Posted September 25, 2007 DEFINITELY start Kitna! The Bears simply cannot cover a #1 WR. Roy or Calvin will find the end zone at least once on Sunday. For defense, I would actually go with Dallas, just because the Rams' offense is truly terrible right now. I just think while the Rams are down, you gotta take advantage of that. beatsdesign 0 Posted September 25, 2007 i agree with thatguy25 Kitna is the way to go....whether they are winning or losing he will put up 50 passes Its a tossup on defense....kitna was sacked 9 times last week and I dont see that trend ending bc of the amount of pass attempts and he is always due for a pick....on the other side, newman is back at full strength for the boys which totally changes the outlook of their secondary JB http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=290489

I would then go Dallas, Rams just lost their only piece in Sjax...then again this could force them to spread it around, who knows...but those are my opinions... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=290678 thanks
itsbigmoni 1 Posted September 25, 2007 Kitna and Chi could both put up points for you. How much does a sack cost kitna? An INT? He's infamous for throwing a lot of picks. In my league, having a few sacks and 2 picks can make up for giving up 24-28 points. I mean, a forced fumble or two, fumble recovery, two picks, and 4 sacks wouldn't be a bad day. However, the rams O has been TERRIBLE. Dallas d is coming together so they could also have a strong showing. Also Sjax is out. Bulger had what, 116 yards passing last week? I'd say Dallas allows way less points, but maybe not as maybe picks/sacks/fumbles as bears. I think the biggest thing hurting the bears D is grossman. If he deflates the D like he did last week, then you're screwed starting the bears. But, since detroit has a terrible D, maybe grossman has a good grossman day, detroit falls behind, and it forces kitna to throw 40+ times. If that happens, you'll definitely see 2-3 picks and a bunch of sacks. I'd go with Kitna and Dallas D. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=290676
philodocious 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Gonna probably go with Kitna and Dallas. I should've mentioned earlier, but DEF's in my lg get bonuses (or deductions) also based on points against, run yds against, and pass yds against. So if Kitna hits 300 yds and 2 td's, even with some sacks and picks, it won't be pretty for CHI's D point total. Dallas could shut out StL.
ArtVandelay 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Thanks for mine. Just piling on here. Go with Kitna and the Dallas D as between those choices. I should say that I wouldn't be surprisied if Bulger slings it around and has a better week this week. However, the Rams are clearly in a world of hurt, and there's a decent chance of the Cowbyoys D having a good week. Regardless, you can't start the CHI D against your starting QB, and I'd say starting Kitna is the more important goal here.
