rottytiny 7 Posted September 29, 2007 OK, I have MJD in a limited keeper league, would you trade him for Maroney (who is also a keeper), non ppr, standard scoring. 12 teams. Heres my RBs: SJax Leonard MJD(keeper) Jacobs(Keeper) Julius Jones Turner Pittman I'd get Maroney and be able to keep him unlimitedly, I'd be giving up MJD. Would you do it? Will reply. ramblin'wreck 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Yes, I would.. I don't think MJD is built to be a featured back. It starts to show already this year that last year might have been a fluke. Thanks for mine.
BostonPatriots 0 Posted September 29, 2007 This is a good question. They are both young runners in RBBCs MJD has not performed very well this year, and Maroney has performed, but Morris is stealing some of his TDs. Well I am not sure about stealing, because it seems like Maroney gets 1 or 2 cracks at it, and if he doesn't get in then Morris gets the shot. Maroney is on the more explosive team. One thing a red last year was when you have two close RBs and you are not sure who to pick you should go for the guy who is going to get more yards, because a yardage back will be more consistent. TDs are not as predictable, because the team has many ways to score and it is determined on play calling. So in this case I would go with Maroney, better team and passing game which will keep men out of the box. Thanks for the help with mine
Bronson38 0 Posted September 29, 2007 I think I would do it. They are both in a rbbc sort of situation, but NE is light years ahead of Jax. Jax off. is really struggling, and Fred seems to be alright after the shot in the knee. The NE off. is unreal and you would have to think as the seasons progresses, LM is going to get more and more involved. Just an FYI, I have been working on the owner of him in my league and was offered LM for Branch. I am considering it although I do have Gore and Portis and solid 3 wrs. Good Luck
Highland Chargers 0 Posted September 29, 2007 I would rather have a RB on a high potent offense versus a guy who is STILL splitting time with Taylor. I have Taylor and the only way either will be studs is if one gets hurt. Most likely Taylor due to age. The Jags kinda suck this year and the Pats have everything going in the direction of 16-0. Take a look at mine ... here
