Help me put a trade together

This guy is desperate for a qb and I think I can let one go. I'm not looking to rip him off, fair deal for both.

It's a 12 team, 2qb league so that puts him in a really deep hole. I hate 2qb leagues but these are buddies and that's what they want to do.

 

Both teams are 2-2 but I have the 2nd high points in the league so I don't want to mess things up. I will roll with my lineup if I can't put something that helps me together.

Start 2qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1wr/rb, 1te, 1k, 1def

I offered him Eli for Peterson straight up, he sent back an offer of Eli for SJax straight up. This was awful tempting and I might go back too it, but I'm uncertain of SJax the rest of the year, and I would really like to get Peterson from him.

I just countered with Eli and DWilliams(for the handcuff) for Peterson and am waiting to hear from him.

The reason I offered up Eli for Peterson straight up is that in a 2qb league I put about the same value on a qb as I do an rb.

 

I was thinking if he doesn't like this one I would offer Eli and Williams for Portis. which would give me the Portis-Betts handcuff.

 

Appreciate any thoughts. I would like to deal to upgrade my #3rb spot but I'm not going to sell the farm or give Eli away.

 

Should I go back to the SJax for Eli straight up? Is SJax going to be productive nearing the end of the season for a playoff run for me? I think I should be able to make the playoffs without him and could afford to wait for him to come around, but is he gonna come around, in your opinion? If he does I would love to enter the playoffs with him, Brown and Edge.

I would take the SJax for E.Manning straight up in a heartbeat. You're thin at RB and SJax will come back even if it's after the bye week which is week 9. If you have SJax for week 10 and on you'll be set.

You seem strong at QB I would take the chance and take S Jackson. I know he has been in a slump but I just don't see that continuing.

Yeah, I would take Steven Jackson too. Since Bulger is out, I can see them running more once he returns to action. And like someone said before, you are kind of thin at RB, so I think that S Jax would be a nice addition.

 

Eli will fall...he always does.

I like the Jackson trade, if you get him rested after a couple weeks you'll be pretty well off. You can even get by with him on your bench for the time being.
