Roy Williams, what's his worth for an RB?

Recommended Posts

With Detroit's upcoming schedule and my lack of depth at RB, I'd like to start shopping RW around.

My current WR core: RW, Reggie Wayne, B. Edwards, D Mason, Roddy White.

My RBs: injured SJax & Pittman; LJ, K Jones.

[edit] the back-ups for cle and cin are available as well as wynn. which would be the better choice?

Leave a link and I'll help you out.

Drop Pittman and pick up a WW RB. I think RW is worth more than Thomas Jones who is bottom tier #2. I agree he is worth at least a top tier #2.

Thanks for mine.

Don't worry. Jackson will be back and put up points later this season. LJ may still come through as well.

I'd drop Pittman and go for any of the WW guys out there. Morency or Wynn? Kenton Keith? Jones Drew? D Rhodes?

There must be someone available with an upside.

Thanks for answering mine.

SJax will be abck, but his O-line won't. That is a bit of a risk.

Here is what I would do;

1. Drop Pittman for someone on waivers. If there is someone decent enough, stand pat with that.

2. If not, then I would think you could get a RB of the caliber of Portis, Mcgahee, or Lynch for RW.

Thanks for mine!!

First, like the others have said drop Pittman for a WW back. As for your question, Roy Williams could definately still get you a solid #2 back if you ask the right owner. Someone like Edge or Lynch would be a possibility.
