Evans, Holmes, Alexander, Colston

Recommended Posts

Evans vs. CIN - nice matchup and he finally paid off last week, but has just as good of a chance to suck as he does to put up multiple TDs.

Holmes vs. BAL - top CBs out for Baltimore, Holmes has struggled in his career vs. Ravens, but he's been consistent this year and I love having a MNF starter.

Alexander @ CLE - I just traded for him (I know), but I'm a Seattle homer and I'm desperately hoping the running game gets going and what better chance does it have than vs. the Brownies. I knoww if I don't start him he'll score twice and go over 100. Plus, it's always nice to have a RB in he flex.

Colston vs. JAX - I haven't really figured him into the mix because I don't particularly like the matchup, but he did score 3 times last week.

Right know I have Evans and Holmes in. The rest of my lineup looks like this:

Palmer

CJ

Evans

Addai

K. Jones

V. Davis

Holmes

I appreciate the input.

Evans is a lock ...

I like the Holmes start also --- even if Rolle/McAllister were starting - Pit has a history of chucking the ball around agains Baltimore - Holmes should be getting good looks

That being said .. If Shaun is healthy, he will get his versus Cleveland - I can definately see 90 plus 2 td's - A fresh off the Injured List not 100% yet Steven Jackson was on pace for a great game last week vs. Cleveland before reinjuring himself (he had 50 total yds and TD in 1 1/2 quarters!)

Go with Evans and Shaun Alexander

i'd go with alexander (if he doesn't do it now, he'll never again) and colston (brees is looking to him, he's a big target and even with the tough matchup, he might be trouble) ... i don't think evans is reliable enough yet, and if jonathan joseph plays, he'll be up against evans and could give him some trouble. holmes is decent, but i think ward will have better numbers in that game.

I am in the same boat... I just traded for Alexander and Evans and would like to have both in the lineup this week but as you just stated I should start Addai and Edge this week and keep Alexander on the bench... You on the other hand can make that play and you would think that it has to pay off....

Good luck and thanks.

I would leave it as you have it.

Evans and Holmes both look like solid plays this week.

Alexander and Colston have upside, but that is just that, upside.

Stick with your gut.
