STEELERMAN 0 Posted December 13, 2007 PLEASE PICK 1: S. Young @ HOU K. Smith v. TENN MJD @ PITT L. MARONEY v. JETS Smith is hurting along w/ whole KC Offense. MJD & Maroney just don't get the touches I am leaning toward YOUNG but scared of the RAT!!!
eb122 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Interesting choice here. I think S. Young may be your best bet here. Denv is saying they will be giving him more work and henry may be a goal line back now. So he may lose some touches and TD's to Henry. He is very explosive and I expect some maor running vs houston. The rest of your guys are very hit or miss and I dont like MJD at all this week. I would say if you are in PPR Maroney may get a few catches but I see similar scores for him and Smith. Young has best shot at big score!! Good luck and pls see mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=305930 Eb
AoO 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Man, that's a tough choice. I think it probably comes down to Young vs MJD. Smith is intriguing, too, because his matchup is good, but as you mentioned KC's offense is pretty sorry. Young has a good matchup, but has had trouble scoring. MJD is a stud on a great running team, but faces the stingiest running defense as far as fantasy points are concerned. As you know, I have a similar situation, so it's a tough call for me as well. But... I'd probably go with Young on a close call. Thanks for mine!
jman316 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Rated as such: Young Smith Maroney Jones-Drew Young has a good matchup, but so does Maroney and Smith (TEN has been bad lately vs. the run). Who knows with Maroney though...could be his week, might not. KC has been better on O, but you never know if TEN will rekindle that kick-a$$ run D (is Haynesworth still out?) Young, regardless of the Shanahanigans, should get a solid amount of touches on the ground and looks in the passing game. J

MJD & Maroney just don't get the touches I am leaning toward YOUNG but scared of the RAT!!! I would lean towards MJD. Just because I am not starting him this week he is going to blow up. If not Young in your best option after MJD. Thanks for mine - !
smeedemann 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I would lean heavily toward Young as well. Smith has an ankle injury and may not play much. Maroney hasn't seen much action all year and I don't foresee that changing this week regardless of weather. MJD would be my second option but Taylor seems to be getting more touches now. tazman01 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Thanks for mine I go with Young here - no doubt. I read he will get most of the carries so that settles it.
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I really think it comes down to Young or Maroney and I give the rock to Young. He has a great matchup and has proven that he can put up #1RB numbers. Young should be great this week. Thanks for seeing mine.
CptLeech 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I would go with Young also. He will get most of the carries and he is from Houston and is pumped for a big game. see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=306007
