New development on my trade...

Alright the trade has turned to this:

 

I get:

Larry Fitzgerald

Thomas Jones

Justin Fargas

 

He gets:

Marques Colston

Willis McGahee

Ray Rice

 

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it, especially with Fargas involved... What do you guys think?

Hit or miss, depends on how well Thomas Jones does with Favre.

Don't do that trade. Fargas will split carries at best. McFadden will still have the better year. The Ravens don't have a QB or any wideouts, they'll run a ton and either McGahee (if he stays healthy) or Rice have a very good year. Fitz and Colston are pretty equal and cancel each other out. Thomas Jones averages a measly 3.5 ypc, but might have a better year with Favre there. In the end, you have to make the choice, but I think you lose in the deal.

No way I do this trade.

 

Colston will be an absolute stud and you have the Ravens starting RB whether it's McGahee or Rice. Much more solid with that than Fargas with McFadden lurking in the background and Leon W doing the same over T Jones shoulder.

I ended up doing the trade... I don't really like Jones either, but it's a risk/reward thing. Same goes for Fargas. I usually go under the "If you have enough RB's one of them is bound to surprise you" philosophy... So I decided to give this one a shot.

 

This was of course before the two of you shot it down >_>

 

Nevermind... just checked the league and he hadn't accepted it yet... Declined it for now...

I wouldn't do it...colston is solid and rice may be better than fargas in the long run.

Ok here it is:

 

Colston = Fitz - about as even as you can get!

 

Jones = McGahee and R Rice - also very even so far.

 

Fargas - the guy has all the value of a RB5 which means he will probably sit on your bench til you cut him.

 

I can see no real advantage or disadvantage for making this trade. Since you've already pulled the trigger tho, I hope it works out for you.
