I have the #1 WW priority and I don't know if he is worth a pickup. If you think I should pick him up, who should I drop?

I would drop Schuab or buckhalter for him. Westy may only miss 1 game, and maybe not even that, i dont think buckhalter is worth holding on to unless as a handcuff.

 

 

When he gets healthy he should be a solid start, and while you are set at RB now, injuries happen.

 

 

Although i have gore/portis in my main league so hopefully not to them.

Brees has a week 9 bye so you have some time to get things figured out. By then Buckhalter will be expendable unless Westy is out.

Dump Shaub.

 

Brees doesn't go on bye for another 5 weeks. No way would you use Shaub ahead of Brees anyway. In the next 5 weeks you'll probably be able to let Buckhalter go too so you can pick up a Bye week QB.

 

McGahee isn't what he was but take a shot. Maybe he pops with some good games and you have trade bait.
