Sifting through trade offers - any make sense?

Recommended Posts

My team is 5-0, and while it's good, I think I could make it better with a trade. Just not sure if any of these trades make me overall better or not:

My team:

QB - (weakest position) Hasselback, JT O'Sullivan, Delhomme, Cassell

RB - Barber, Lynch, Forte, F. Jones, Sproles, C. Perry

WR - Megatron, DeS Jackson, Cotchery

TE - Witten

Trade Offer #1 is Wayne for Forte straight up.

Trade Offer #2 is Cutler for Barber straight up

Trade Offer #3 is Wayne & Thomas Jones for Forte and C. Perry

Trade offer #4 is K. Warner & Jamal Lewis for Forte & any of my QBs

Would you do any of these? If so, which and why?

Thanks, and leave your link and I'll answer....

How many RBs do you start? If you have a flex and can start 3 RBs, I wouldn't do any of the trades that result in you losing Forte or Barber. If you have to start 3 wides, different story...

As for QB, I think you're fine if you count on Delhomme for now and watch Hasselback. Your team is ruthless at RB and decent at WR, and playing matchups between just the two of them should give you acceptable production on the year. Wouldn't take a hit that isn't off your bench to upgrade QB. Of the 4 trades, the only one I somewhat like is #3, as Reggie Wayne is about as consistent a producer as you can get and Thomas Jones at least has a good schedule the rest of the year, including during Barber's bye week. If you can only start 2 RBs and don't have a flex, I would definitely make that trade.

Yes, only start 2 RBs and w WRs (plus of course 1 QB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def).
