wk 17 championship starters help

here is my roster with the people i'm leaning to start in CAPS for week 17 championship game. i have made it the previous 2 years and lost both times (1st time for starting guys who got benched and last time for benching guys who started). please help! leave a link and i will return the favor.

 

QB (pick 1): THIGPEN @ CINCY

garcia vs. oak

 

WR (pick 3): SANTANA MOSS @ SF

MUHAMMAD @ NO

JOHNNIE LEE HIGGINS @ TB

ted ginn @ nyjets

reggie wayne vs. tenn

boldin vs. sea

 

RB (pick 3): PORTIS @ SF

FORTE @ HOU

ronnie brown @ nyjets

 

TE (pick 1): DAVID MARTIN @ NYJETS

dallas clark vs. tenn

 

 

as far a TE, i'm thinking either Martin or Daniel Graham @ SD. both are pretty much in the same boat, share time with other TE's but have about the same amount of receptions and TDs and playing against 2 of the worst teams in terms of fantasy points given up vs. TE's.

 

for WR, mark bradley, jerheme urban, josh reed, dennis northcutt are available, but i was liking Moose and Higgins as the panthers still have to play for seeding.

 

i know this is a lot but i don't want to lose a 3rd time in the championship! please help and i'll return the favor!

I go Boldin over Higgins (make sure he is playing) & definately RBrown over Portis (heard a lot of negative re: Portis already) Dolphins will be clawing for division. Thanks for mine

This is why I hate leagues that have their Superbowls on week 17...benching Wayne and Boldin for Higgins?

 

I would go Brown over Portis for sure.

 

Clark over Martin.

 

Do some research and see who is a better start in Wayne and Boldin and start them over Higgins. Can't trust an Oakland WR to win you the Championship.

I like all your leans except for your WRs. Reports say Boldin will play, and AZ is playing to win, since they have been awful lately and need some momentum going into the playoffs. Check reports closer to game time, but I would definitely play Boldin if he starts.

 

I also think Ginn is a good start over Mush or Higgens. I would start Moss, Ginn, and Boldin (if he starts), otherwise I would play Mush if Boldin is out.

 

I also have to respectfully disagree with the above posts calling for Brown over Portis. I'll be checking the reports closer to gameday, but right now it appears that Portis will start and play the game as usual, in a stellar matchup. I started Brown over Portis last week, and got burned. I won;t let it happen again. Brown is just way too inconsistent in the RBBC to be trusted. Plus the Jets defensive weakness is against the pass, not the run. I just can't depend on a guy that might only get 10 carries.
