Keeper Help

Who's the better keeper this year? Slaton or Jackson? I have to decide by Saturday and I don't really have a preference yet. Jackson is on a crappier team. Both catch passes and are the main back on their team.

I am not a Steven Jackson fan as he has had one monster season and three disappointing ones since becoming the starter. I like everything about Slaton better, but...Jackson has a higher percieved value. You could get a lot for him in trade.

 

I suggest you keep Jackson and then shop him around after the draft. You may be able to pull off a Reggie Wayne/Brandon Jacobs type trade. Jackson has immense talent but his team is terrible and he has durability issues.

I'd go with Slaton here. I doubt you would get a Wayne/Jacobs type combo in return for Steven jackson. Keep Slaton. Thanks for Mine!

Not sure where you are getting your information from but here is where S JAX finished in terms of RB fantasy points and in parenthesis is how the Rams finished. This is standard Yahoo scoring.

 

2008: 3rd (2-14)

2007: 9th (3-13)

2006: 3rd (8-8)

2005: 11th (6-10)

 

While I agree he has durability issues I do not agree that has had disappointing seasons or that his team being bad really has any effect. Look at Calvin Johnson, 12 TDs on a ZERO win team. This is a tough call and you really can't go wrong either way in my eyes. I say go with S Jax. I don't know why but I have a feeling he will have a monster year.

I love SJax this year and every, but in a Keeper league you need to go with the young gun Slaton. There's no reason to think he'll be injury prone and right now he's on a better offense. It's close, but go SS.

i would go w/sjax. hes too good. i like slaton, but if sjax falls back into where he should be, you would be kicking yourself
