BigMilk 40 Posted September 11, 2009 10 team league, standard scoring. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR and a RB/WR flex. Feel good about my 2RBs and my flex (MJD, Jacobs, and Slaton). Who is the better week 1 start, Romo or Palmer? Would like to make sure Carson has gotten the rust off before starting him but I'm thinking about throwing him in. Which two WRs to start, Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Antonio Bryant and Roy Williams? Bolding normally would be a lock, but even if he plays, that hamstring can ruin him. Thinking of dealing one of my RBs to upgrade at WR, but for now, any help on who to start will be appreciated.
beatsdesign 0 Posted September 11, 2009 first off thx for mine. altho im a cowboys fan, this weeks cinci matchup looks like a shootout. give him one week to prove something. if he has a big game, trade him. boldin for sure if you start romo go boom or bust with roy. if not then start jackson for consistency. great draft re: rbs. impressed you got all 3 of those guys. nosferatu9368 0 Posted September 11, 2009 I would honestly go with Palmer, Romo is obviously a good start but there might not be alot of scoring in Tampa while the Cincinnati - Denver game could have 60 points scored in it. I play Boldin and Jackson, i'm just not high on Roy Williams. Great backs, is this a keeper league? Good Luck Peace...
HTH 95 Posted September 12, 2009 Romo is the safe play. Palmer could do well though. Of the wrs def Boldin, and Williams. Thanks for answering mine.
Folger71 0 Posted September 12, 2009 Palmer, yes... I think he is a natural talent that has been held back to this point... Jackson and Roy E. at WR. THIS WEEK Obviously if you drafted him you have seen Boldin play... the dude is a monster. BUT, he is hurt. Roy E. is also a great player and now DAL #1 receiver. Do I think DeSean Jackson is a good player? Absolutely. But not yet on the level of the other two. Antonio Bryant may be good too, but we need to wait and see. All things equal, Boldin, Roy E. This week, Jackson and Roy E.
edgarb 0 Posted September 12, 2009 Thanks for answering mine I'm hesitant to say Palmer, but that's what my gut says. I have doubts about Romo this year. As for the other, I'd go Boldin and Jackson

Palmer has rust issues, but I'm not real confident (yet) in Romo's targets. Is Boldin playing week 1? If he is, then Boldin and D.Jackson.
BRANDON ROSS 0 Posted September 12, 2009 I've got Jackson and Colston starting over Boldin at this point, but I'm waffling. I'm starting JJ in the Flex over Boldin and McFadden. I wish they would sit Boldin this week so he make sure the hamstring is 100%, and I think even if he plays they will limit his snaps. I'd hate to have that hammy aggravating him all season.
