H-man 12 Posted September 30, 2009 My starters went nuts this past week but I feel like I have a lot of solid but expendable players at RB and WR. My 12-team league is non-PPR, 6 points for passing TD and we start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1DST 1K. Anyone have any good trade ideas for a WR1? I'm 1-2 so short-term thinking is encouraged. Thanks. QB: Rodgers RB: MJD, Rice, Parker, Moreno, Bradshaw WR: Boldin, Manningham, Mason, Berrian, A. Bryant TE: Daniels DST: Steelers K: Carney
bluesrams2 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Try giving Moreno or Parker, whichever you like less, and Mason or Berrian to someone who is extremely thin at RB. If there's someone who has Gore and K. Smith, you could get the likes of Roddy White. Maybe even try to buy low on TO or Steve Smith. The key is to target somone weak at RB.
gram 0 Posted September 30, 2009 im not huge on dealing any your rbs..because of parker's injury. the only one i might look @ is bradshaw...maybe pair him up w/boldin or manningham. i think bryant will be good soon enough....mason will have some decent games...but berrian not looking great. thanks for mine

It wouldn't technically be..."buying low"...I don't think you're going to see anything more than maybe a below average WR2 at this point. The dropped passes are still there, he looks a step slower, and his QB situation leaves little to be desired.
envoy9 5 Posted September 30, 2009 I think the problem you have is that it's going to be hard to get a top WR without putting up MJD or Rodgers as part of deal. You have some depth, but in most leagues qualtiy wins over quantity, and the 2 for 1 thing rarely happens. I don't think it hurts to try to make deal. If you were asking the question about depth in terms of can your team take the loss of players such as Moreno+Boldin, if that would work in a deal, then do it. H-man 12 Posted September 30, 2009 Thanks for the insight. Someone accepted Moreno and Manningham for Marques Colston. Was this a good deal for me?
