CajunBadger 9 Posted October 23, 2009 Was going to trade Smith (Car) for Jennings. Now owner says he doesn't want Smith and may just drop Jennings. I like Jennings situation better than Smith's for long run if he is healthy (Rodgers vs Delhomme, Grant vs D-Will/Stewart but do have the O-line issues). Take a chance on Jennings and if so, who to drop...still get rid of Smith? Note about 1st two replies: I accidentally still had Miller in my signature...he's gone - was replaced by Rice. On similar note, how does my starting lineup look below? VJax (@KC), Bowe (SD), Welker (@TB), and Breaston (NYG) and sit Smith (or Jennings if I pick him up). Still thinking Breaston even if Boldin does start. Any changes, such as work Jennings for one of these (again if I pick him up and figuring the hip isn't serious)? Looking at your signature, I'm not a big fan of carrying two TEs if you don't have too. I would suggest dropping Miller and getting Jennings. I think he will be solid for the remainder of the season. Maybe you can do a 2 for 1 trade to a team who needs a TE and clear a spot for Jennings. team awesome 4 Posted October 23, 2009 wow. is he really dropping jennings? is this guy on crack? jennings was a top 10 WR last year. he showed game 1 he still can do that. hes been in a slump but hell break out of it especially in that offense. drop someone to pick up jennings. or do what carnage said and do a 2 for 1 to clear up a spot. either way, get him . hes got ridiculous upside. mine : http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=354902
KC Carnage 0 Posted October 23, 2009 You gotta get Jennings, and of those guys you listed, I would sit Steve Smith.

I see Jennings picking it up - similar to last year, but I can't pick him up without dropping someone (and a trade is extremely unlikely). That is one question I had - who to drop - Smith? team awesome 4 Posted October 23, 2009 drop one of the defenses... you have two..
jdibella 0 Posted October 23, 2009 Starting Breaston is a good idea. I think it's going to be a shootout with NYG/ARI this week. Good luck and thanks for answering mine!
Militia 0 Posted October 23, 2009 I'd def. try to get jennings. His numbers haven't been EXCELLENT, but he is a solid player, playing on a solid passing team.
CajunBadger 9 Posted October 24, 2009 drop one of the defenses... you have two.. That's been a recommendation since the start of the season but except for going with the "stud" D (Baltimore) week 1, have maximized my points with two teams. I'd have to drop Baltimore into a weak free agent market as they have the bye this week. Here's how the scoring has gone week by week (with my starter in bold): Week1: Bal - 3 GB - 14 Week2: Bal - 6 GB - 11 Week3: Bal - 17 GB - 14 Week4: Bal - 11 GB - 7 Week5: Bal - 18 GB - 0 Week6: Bal - 2 GB - 21 Overall scoring with GB having a bye week, 67 pts for GB vs 57. Could say this is an argument for dropping Baltimore, but given the scores I got, I see it as not much different than choosing between two upper RB2's or WR2's (and there aren't many left out there!). Maybe my logic is skewed, but I don't think it's like having two kickers on a team. Curious what others think about this...yeah you can call me crazy
