Slaton / Welker trade help!

Ok my WRs have been dissappointing all year. Jennings, Manningham, Edwards and Walter.

I am fairly deep at RB - Rice, Benson, Slaton, Forte, Beanie, Caddy, McGahee

Standard scored league, non ppr , Start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex, Keeper league (2 players up to 3 years)

I proposed a trade of Slaton, Manningham for Welker, SSmith (nyg).

He countered with Slaton,Manningham, Beanie for Welker, SSmith, Sproles.

i would do that for sure . you are getting two good wrs and still u have depth and rb.

I actually love this trade for you. Sproles still gets a lot of touches in SD so you aren't going to lose THAT much with the Slaton trade.

 

The only thing I would ask, could you do this trade next week? Slaton is bound to have a huge day against the pourous Bills rushing defense.

I agree 100% about holding out for another week. Slaton should have a huge day and Welker is on his bye this week anyway. I know there should be no favors in ff, but this is a league of friends, competitive, but no $$ on the line. The other guy is a good friend and I think given that Slaton hasn't had his bye yet either it would probably be more fair to do the deal this week. Slaton could also go down or fumble 3 times and the deal would fall thru also.

I would take the deal. you still have depth at RB, and with Brady throwing to his WR's as he is right now, go with the deal

i like sproles more than beanie so good deal for you. agree with the others though that next week is better than this week to make the deal since welker is on bye and smith plays a tough philly pass d. he should be willing to wait til next week since he is still getting the best player in the deal in slaton. you could survuve though if you had to do the deal this week.

I would do this too. You're trading your depth for some much needed help at WR. Again, if you can wait till next week you'll be better off. Also, If you wait and Slaton goes big, you may be able to get a little more or hold onto Beanie and get rid of Caddy or Mcgahee instead.
