Bearnut 0 Posted September 11, 2010 I've got Randy Moss at WR1, and Ahmad Bradshaw at my Flex...but I don't know which receiver to start at WR2 this week. I'm currently going with Bowe based on where I drafted him. What do you think? Dwayne Bowe Hakeem Nicks Johnny Knox Malcom Floyd Jacoby Jones

Dwayne Bowe Hakeem Nicks Johnny Knox Malcom Floyd Jacoby Jones Knox or Floyd Floyd= Every time they play KC they put the ball up. Last year Jackson only caught bombs against them. Floyd showed what he could do in that 3rd preseason game when he had some playing time. I just feel like you can't lose with him and Gates this week Knox= is just good and they are playing the lions, so ....
Buck Naked 0 Posted September 11, 2010 I agree that it's Knox or Floyd. Hicks is rated high this week, but he is less certain, plus you already have bradshaw, so in the rare circumstance that NYG are shut down, you will suffer more. I think Floyd is the safer play but Knox has more potential upside, i.e. higher ceiling but also lower floor. Check my post, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=369803

Knox should be good for at least 5 catches, not sure if he is a TD threat like Bowe and Floyd are. I would play it safe and start Bowe, a player who has proven he's a stud and is the #1 redzone target.
beatsdesign 0 Posted September 11, 2010 imo - between bowe and knox. play it safe with bowe - we don't know how nicks will do just yet, same with knox - really its on a shaky cutler there. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=369810
montana 89 Posted September 12, 2010 Bowe or Floyd. I could see SD going up early, making Bowe's ceiling a little higher.
Beer Me Please 1 Posted September 12, 2010 Go with Floyd... KC was near the bottom in total defense last year and Floyd is #1 WR (for now) on a really good SD offense. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=369864
2GQ 0 Posted September 12, 2010 I would think you drafted Bowe to be your WR2 so I would not stray away from this in Week 1. With the other options, I would want to wait and see what happens.... In SD, will Rivers rely on his comfort with Gates and look to him for the most part? In NY, I would not take Nicks being that you are starting Bradshaw. In CHI, which WR will be Cutler's favorite? I may consider Knox here since they are playing the Lions DST but if the game is out of hand and the Bears build a lead, they may abandon the passing game altogether. So, I would start Bowe. He is the clear #1 and has something to prove after an average 2009-2010.
