Take chances with Romo or pickup another?

Recommended Posts

I play in a 14 team league where other QB's are scarce. With Romo's issues and being a Monday night game, would you pick up a QB to play today, or take your chances?

The QB's available in our league are;

Henne vs Browns ---lean toward Henne as he did have a great week one at NE and good receivers but that is on NE's pass D too?

Campbell vs Jets

McCoy vs Dolphins

A. Smith vs Bungles

McNabb vs Lions

Would you consider using any of these over a question mark Romo? If he's ruled out that day, I can always grab Kitna but not Grossman as not available.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

thanks for reply....I would start/pick up McCoy just for 1 week...

I still have a feeling that Romo will play though and will be forced to pass a lot to keep up!

Can definitely pick up Kitna as insurance but obviously if Romo leaves after the first quarter, it wouldn't matter.

Thanks for the McCoy vote but the fact that Hillis is out and his rec. are banged up is a little concerning.

Thanks for those options. Any other opinions?

Thanks for answering mine Guru. I've got the same call with Romo/Sanchez, and I am *cross fingers* starting Sanchez. (no one else you list is available on my wire save Kitna).

Henne would be my next choice, but a reluctant one. McCoy is close, but I think Hardesty scores more in that game. We're getting every indication that Romo is playing on Monday, but vest or not I don't know how effective he'll be. I'd stash Kitna and hold out hope for Romo instead of your other options.
