How to Improve my Team - will answers yours

I am in a 14 team ppr league, 6 points all td's, 3 point bonus for 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushing or receiving. The format is a bit unusual as only one starting rb is required: QB, RB, WR1, WR2, TE, Flex1 (RB/WR/TE), Flex2 (RB/WR/TE), D, K. My team is as follows:

 

 

QB Stafford (Dalton)

RB Foster (Tate, Joique)

WR1 Jordy Nelson (Randle and whoever sits of Amendola/Moore)

WR2 Josh Gordon

Flex1 Chris Johnson

Flex2 Amendola/D. Moore

TE Olsen

Def - Panthers

K - Novak (bye week filler - had Akers previously)

 

I am currently 4-4, middle of the pack, but the only bye week issues after this week are Gordon and Amendola being out week 10. What type of deals can I make to try to improve this team? Dalton killed his potential trade value with a clunker this week. A healthy Foster is solid as my #1 rb, Chris Johnson is either going to break out or end up on my bench at the expense of an all WR flex) and my WR's are solid and deep. Olsen is solid enough but never explodes at TE. Any thoughts or suggestions on the types of trades I might make to improve or should I hold tight and go forward with what I believe to be a pretty solid and deep team for a 14 team league?

You could probably swap out Chris Johnson and a bench player for a better flex. Maybe a good WR or RB? Chris Johnson's value seems to be increasing but who knows whether or not itll stay like that. Swap him while hes up there.

I think your a bit late now... but Murray would of been a target 3 weeks ago. You can gamble on NYG RB I might be crazy but think David Wilson will play good or Andre Brown, package them as a "throw away" in the deal. To upgrade at RB I would trade CJ after hopefully a good week this week but honestly the RB pickens are hurting and who you gonna get Zack Stacy. Amedola and CJ would be a good package for better RB see what you can get I expect both to have some of there better games this week.

 

Im actually trading for CJ but don't expect more low 2 RB or high flex. Amendola... was my draft bust of the yr but think he will have best game to date... he only played 4 so not saying much. Both will have high values you can stand pat with CJ but won't get good RB trade if you do... but would 100% deal Amendola.

 

You have a solid team and you can get value out of mentioned players.

I think you have a good team for a 14 team league. You could try and move CJ but then you are in trouble if Fosters hamstring becomes a problem. I would probably stick with what you have and hope Amendola can stay healthy.
