1/2 point PPR - Flex

Recommended Posts

I purposely left my flex for my 3 broncos this week since I was unsure if Welker would pass Concussion tests.

So weather is suppose to be 7 degrees with 20-25 MPH winds. We know Manning is not at his best in cold windy weather.

Welker's last 2 games in cold weather in Foxboro last year was 5-56 0 TD and 3-52 0 TD But theres the revenge factor which he always did well on Patriots when playing Miami.

As predicted Morano's production has dropped off to Ball's GL vultures. And he's a warm weather RB.

Ball, who's from Missouri and played at Wisconsin is no stranger to playing in the cold. He's out scored Morano recently because he's the Goal line back now.

I'm actually leaning hard for Starting Ball. Am I crazy?

I think it's too early to stop playing Moreno - he's been too good and even last week where he was taken out of the passing game he ran for 70+. If Ball takes his goaline looks this week think about sitting him but not today. As for Welker v. Moreno - RB wins.

Thanks for your reply but I live in Denver and Ball IS the goalline back from now on until the playoffs. They are afraid of Morano wearing out before the end of the season and getting hurt. Even last week BALL fumbled in the Red zone and still remained the back. He got 2 TD's and scored more points than Moreno.

So I agree with RB beats Welker so what i'm really struggling with is Welker or Ball for the start.

I think the weather might actually help welker as the cold and wind may take away some of the deeper routes. Many of welkers short catches are like glorified runs anyway. I'd go with welker
