    Screen or ad lib?

Yes, it was a good play, he made the right reaction, at lightening speed, which is a good sign. That's not really out of the ordinary for an NFL QB though.
  2. Exactly right! They either don't know or they don't say, probably some of both. Then on top of that, hamstring injuries also seem to be very easy to tweak or have a setback during the recovery period that make it linger for weeks. There's a 2-3 or so other injuries like this that are notorious for unpredictableness. Such as the calf strain, the knee sprain, etc. but I think the hamstring pull is by far the worst of the bunch.

    Screen or ad lib?

It looks like an improvised play, he knew the RB would be there so he tried to get rid of it in his direction to avoid the sack. Pretty common move for a QB. It was a good play, but I don't think it was anything spectacular.

    Qb scoring change

You could say it does two things. It elevates QBs in general. It also evens the balance out a little bit between QBs like Jalen Hurts that get lots of rushing TDs, and pocket passers, considering all TDs are equal

    Qb scoring change

That sounds like a big boost for QBs, which would mean I would want one of the better QBs. The roster dynamics of the positions you must start don't really change much, but the value of one of them has been elevated quite a bit it sounds like. That's a big change. You should try to adjust accordingly I believe. On a side note, I've never understood the 4 pt passing TD thing any way
  6. That's the thing, the injury range varies widely. It's something where a player could miss one game, or miss the entire season. When it's the latter, they rarely say it's gonna be a long term thing into you're 2-3 games in. Most of them aren't very long term, but they can be, and the recovery process seems kind of tricky. Exactly what happened with Justin Jefferson last season on my dynasty team. Luckily though he was back in time for the playoffs You just never know with hamstring injuries.
  7. He had 8 games last season with under 30 rushing yards. He had 3 games where he rushed for 100 yards. That's almost 3 times as many games under 30 yards as over 100. He scored 9 total TDs. Those are just not good enough numbers for a top 3 pick. He had some big games last season, but he had a few duds as well. From a top 3 pick, RB or WR, they better be breaking 100 yards about half the games, and the ones they don't, they should be close. At least a dozen TDs too. Breece is a talented RB, but let's be honest, this hype about him this season is more about Aaron Rodgers than anything

    Players to Avoid

He almost always goes in the first round in the mock drafts I do, or early 2nd. I just never feel good drafting him there. I think he's a very talented player, but I think maybe the hype with him, and the Lions in general may be a bit much. They're a team that I wouldn't be surprised if they come back down to Earth a little this season. Some of their players that scored 10-11 TDs last season may drop back to 7 or 8. Goff is known to have an off season after a big one too. I'm not saying they're gonna suck but they may not be as good as last season

    Players to Avoid

I've done several mock drafts at all different picks 1 through 10 or 12. It's crazy how no matter what pick I have, I end up with a team that looks very similar. Really, past the first round, I pick the same 2-3 players or so each round. The only players I never end up with are- Breece Hall, Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Sam LaPorta, Jalen Hurts, or Joe Burrow. It's not that I have any of those guys specifically on a do not draft list. They just always get selected way before I would pick them.

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

Definitely, Jerry is the new Al Davis almost. The Bears it seems to me have often had talent. Just not always at the right spots. Or they are severely lacking at key spots. The QB history is well noted. It also seems to me that they have often lacked on the offensive line as well. The days of winning with a killer defense and mediocre offense are long gone. The Bears have had some pretty decent coaches over the years, they just haven't had the talent they needed on offense. They seem to have done a pretty job though of acquiring talent, or at least potential. If Caleb pans out, and they can keep an OL together, they should be in the playoffs in the near future

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

Dak is the kind of guy that can really light it up against mediocre and bad teams, He can get completely stumped by a good team. The whole team is that way for the most part. That and Jason Garrett was a horrendous coach, and he was there forever. McCarthy I think is better in the Xs and Os department, but he doesn't always make the best decisions.

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

I understand. If I were a Bears fan I would be excited too. I'm a Cowboys fan, and it kind of reminds me of when Dak was a rookie. I was convinced he was a HOFer after his first I knew Romo was done and that we needed a QB and all it took was one game, so I know where you're coming from I've certainly criticized him plenty over the years though. He's good not great, maybe Caleb will be great.

Thoughts on Fruit Loops back in Dallas?

Agreed. He's more valuable in PPR because he is likely to avg 2-3 catches or so a game. Which is a big deal for all the RBs past the top dozen or so. That makes him serviceable most games. Beyond that, you're basically hoping he finds the end zone. He's gonna get something like 30-50 yards a game otherwise.
  14. I wouldn't draft him 3rd overall. The only RB I would draft in the first 7-8 picks or so is CMC. I just can't bring myself to draft anyone from the Jets that high.

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

    Amen to that!

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

I saw some of it. He was impressive, but Austin Reed was about as good. I'm not saying there's gonna be a QB controversy or anything, but that just tells me I need to see a bit more before I say he's gonna be anything.

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

He's thrown 7 passes in a preseason game, maybe pump the brakes a bit

    Marquise Brown Shoulder Injury

Just avoid any WR for the Chiefs not named Tyreek Hill, and he doesn't even play for them any more

Thoughts of Justin Jefferson this year

Year to year, his rankings may fluctuate a little among the top 5 or so. Year in year out though, he's arguably the best asset there is in fantasy football. You could certainly say he's as good as any other asset. I have him and Ceedee on my dynasty team. I would consider JJ my WR1 and top player on my team overall.

Puka Nacua "week to week" with knee injury

Same, he's my 3rd WR on my dynasty team, and I traded away some WR depth to get a little RB depth and some draft maneuvering. I still have Olave and Tank Dell behind him but he's a key player on my team.

    McCaffrey Hurt Today

There's a good chance that's what's happening. Although a calf injury like this concerns me when it comes to a guy with a heavy workload the past couple of seasons. That could be the precursor to an Achilles tear...

Thoughts on Fruit Loops back in Dallas?

You just have to have realistic expectations for him. If you're expecting him to go back to his 2017 form or something like that, you will be quite disappointed. If you expect him to be a PPR, goal line RB, to have on the bench for depth, then that's a bit more reasonable.

    Najee Harris -vs- Jaylen Warren

It's a tough call. Najee Harris is coming of a 1000 yard season, he scored twice as many TDs. It just seems like Warren is the more explosive RB. This reminds me of the latter stages of Zeke's first stint in Dallas. He was the main RB, but it seemed like Tony Pollard was the better player, and would eventually push Zeke aside. Which is exactly what happened.

Puka Nacua "week to week" with knee injury

I'll have to keep an eye on that, hopefully it's not serious
