  1. He's a low end back up fantasy QB I suppose.... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40907138/raiders-name-gardner-minshew-starting-qb-week-1

    WR Hold-Outs (Ins)

I wouldn't knock them down too far, given they're ready to play week 1. However, if it's a close call between them and someone else, It could be the deciding factor against CeeDee or Chase
  3. I wouldn't want him as my week to week starter but he's not a bad back up or streaming option.. If he has a decent supporting cast, he can put up serviceable numbers pretty consistently

Caleb Williams is the real deal.

He struggled a bit more today and was outplayed by both Tyson Bagent and Brett Rypien, but it's not like he was terrible or anything. He had a TD run. The main thing is he learns every time he's on the field
  5. I'm doing a 12 man PPR and they both went in the 2nd Kupp went 16th overall and Harrison went 19th
  6. That sounds pretty consistent with the mock drafts I've done the past couple of days
  7. Cooper Kupp I've been seeing go between the latter half of round 2 through round 4. He's been creeping up the draft boards in recent days. Harrison, rarely makes it out of the 2nd, even seen him picked towards the end of the 1st a few times.

That very well may be the worst offense in the NFL

Would You Draft Jefferson Round Two

All else equal, I think JJ is the best overall WR in the NFL. I get the concerns with him, but I don't think it should drop him down but so far. Guys like CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase are already going above him, as well as a couple of RBs that normally wouldn't either. As far as we know he's completely healthy right now going into the season. I don't think he's more injury prone than anyone else. I would say he's fallen far enough if he's still available at the 10th pick. I would jump on it

    Early season DST

Agreed, Washington really could be a team to be reckoned with this season if/when Jayden Daniels pans out. If so, the earlier in the season to have them on the schedule the better. Outside of that, obviously, KC is the last team you want to see you D/ST face, but the Patriots and Panthers, can't get much better than that.

Thoughts on Fruit Loops back in Dallas?

That's how far RBs have fallen. It used to be, an RB that put up those numbers wouldn't see the starting lineup except on desperate occasions, and may not even be rostered at all. If you don't get one of the top 6-8 or 10 or so RBs, the next 25 or so are almost identical in terms of their value.

Thoughts on Fruit Loops back in Dallas?

Looking at his player profile in my league, on ESPN here's his projected stats for the season... 191 carries for 753 yards and 6 TDs on the ground. 32 catches for 217 yards and a TD in the air. Sounds reasonable I would say
  18. The dreaded hamstring pulll... Don't know how long he's gonna be out. Hopefully it's not serious https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40840173/detroit-lions-running-back-jahmyr-gibbs-injures-hamstring-practice

    Screen or ad lib?

Yes, it was a good play, he made the right reaction, at lightening speed, which is a good sign. That's not really out of the ordinary for an NFL QB though.
  20. Exactly right! They either don't know or they don't say, probably some of both. Then on top of that, hamstring injuries also seem to be very easy to tweak or have a setback during the recovery period that make it linger for weeks. There's a 2-3 or so other injuries like this that are notorious for unpredictableness. Such as the calf strain, the knee sprain, etc. but I think the hamstring pull is by far the worst of the bunch.

    Screen or ad lib?

It looks like an improvised play, he knew the RB would be there so he tried to get rid of it in his direction to avoid the sack. Pretty common move for a QB. It was a good play, but I don't think it was anything spectacular.

    Qb scoring change

You could say it does two things. It elevates QBs in general. It also evens the balance out a little bit between QBs like Jalen Hurts that get lots of rushing TDs, and pocket passers, considering all TDs are equal

    Qb scoring change

That sounds like a big boost for QBs, which would mean I would want one of the better QBs. The roster dynamics of the positions you must start don't really change much, but the value of one of them has been elevated quite a bit it sounds like. That's a big change. You should try to adjust accordingly I believe. On a side note, I've never understood the 4 pt passing TD thing any way
  24. That's the thing, the injury range varies widely. It's something where a player could miss one game, or miss the entire season. When it's the latter, they rarely say it's gonna be a long term thing into you're 2-3 games in. Most of them aren't very long term, but they can be, and the recovery process seems kind of tricky. Exactly what happened with Justin Jefferson last season on my dynasty team. Luckily though he was back in time for the playoffs You just never know with hamstring injuries.
