    NFL In Brazil

The NFL is much more popular in Brazil than it is in Europe. Sao Paulo is the largest city in the Western Hemisphere. They shouldn't have any issues selling out. The fact that it's a big game, between two potential contenders goes to show how big a market the NFL thinks they're tapping into.
  3. I don't see this going to trial since there's so much evidence and he's basically admitted to driving the car. They will likely charge him with as serious charges as they can so they can plea down to something lesser. They say he's facing up to 20 years, but that's not gonna happen. I doubt he does any time.
  4. Possession it's a misdemeanor. For sale it's enough to be a felony. Considering the other circumstances of the incident I bet they could charge him with intent to sell if they wanted to

    Dynasty?

It does but it tends to win out more with a good QB and/or system, etc. Doesn't necessarily have to be great, but it really helps if it doesn't suck

2024 NFL Draft Profile - RB Trey Benson

He looks the part on paper. About normal size for an RB. Good 40 time. Decent college work. Can return kicks. However, as a top RB in the class, he doesn't really stand out too much. That doesn't mean he won't be a good NFL RB, but it's definitely gonna come down to where he is drafted, like most players.
  7. 10.8 grams, which is not a small amount in Texas. Enough to be a felony

    Dynasty?

In dynasty I never assume a RB has more than 2 years left in the tank. A top notch rookie, maybe 3 years, but that's it. A stud WR, that's young, I will give a max of 5 years. A stud QB, that's young, 7-10 years. Of course you re-evaluate every player each season, but this is my general rule of thumb.

2024 NFL Draft Profile - QB Bo Nix

I think the difference there usually comes down to arm strength. A QB like this with a strong arm is a star or at least a starter. A QB with a weaker arm is a back up

2024 NFL Draft Profile - QB Bo Nix

I think he may end up being the odd man out of the potential 1st round QBs. However, looking at the scouting report, he has some qualities that will be really valuable in the NFL. That would be getting rid of the ball quickly and reading defenses.

    Dynasty?

Yeah RBs are so thin now it's not really even worth the hassle. I don't see that changing either. If you happen to get one of the 3-4 or so that are like old school workhorse backs, great. Otherwise, they're not much different than waiver wire TEs. You're playing TD roulette. And in all reality, if you do have a stud RB, you're probably better off trading them because they have a short shelf life, high injury probability, and somebody will likely trade the farm for them.

    Dynasty?

That would definitely be a great start. Hopefully you can get Harrison. I think he's gonna be the gem of this class, but I get as many rookie WRs and QBs as I can. I had to completely rebuild my team back in 2020 and I won my league this past season. I drafted CeeDee Lamb, Justin Herbert, as rookies and then right after the draft got Justin Jefferson and Cooper Kupp in a trade. This past season I drafted Anthony Richardson and CJ Stroud. I pretty much employ a no RB strategy and it's worked like a charm. If a good RB falls into my lap, I will take them, but otherwise I just go after the top waiver wire RBs the first two or three weeks of the season. There's always somebody worth picking up. Everybody else seems to chase RBs like crazy. I just let them and load up everywhere else.

    Dynasty?

Yeah, I kind of phased out redraft leagues awhile back . I find it difficult to play both. It's hard to evaluate redraft properly once I get set in dynasty. Plus I like being able to build a team over time instead of just drafting one each season.

Trade: Bills moving WR Stefon Diggs to Texans

Noah Brown will certainly get some time in the slot too

2024 NFL Draft Profile - QB Michael Penix Jr.

He's kind of been all over the draft board but I think his 40 times is gonna get him drafted pretty high.

Trade: Bills moving WR Stefon Diggs to Texans

Yup, they should have one of the best offenses in the NFL

Trade: Bills moving WR Stefon Diggs to Texans

CJ Stroud is on my dynasty team, so this is great news! They're gonna be loaded at WR
  19. It's all speculative at this point. I'm just saying what some people who were supposedly there said and explaining the law. Not saying it makes sense or that he will get convicted of that, but it's how the law works. I would be shocked if he wasn't drinking at least some and it would surprise me more if he didn't have a gun than if he did. It's all for the courts to decide at this point. He can afford a good lawyer so my guess is it will get pleaded down to some sort of misdemeanor and he will get a slap on the wrist.

    J K Dobbins

At this point I would say he's little more than a low level spot starter. That's being generous. RBs that are still trying to find their place in the NFL after 3-4 seasons or so, with multiple injuries, not high odds he's gonna turn it around
  21. I don't know all the nuances of the law, but if you commit a felony while in possession of a firearm, it makes he charge more serious in the eyes of the law. Fleeing the scene unarmed vs fleeing the scene armed. It's a more threatening situation when he's armed.
  22. That 2nd contract can't get here fast enough
  23. Word is he had a gun too. That's perfectly fine in itself, but in Texas while committing a felony, it's sentence enhancer. So if he's street racing, while drunk, with a gun, not difficult to see why he fled the scene

2024 NFL Draft Profile - QB Drake Maye

That was actually who Doug compared McCarthy to, not Drake Maye I know he doesn't have the credentials of wearing lip gloss or painting his fingernails or crying on his mother's bosom on national TV but what NFL QB does?

2024 NFL Draft Profile - QB Drake Maye

You forgot something... Way more than just a strong arm Positives Delivers a beautiful and well-placed deep ball time after time. Among the best in college football at throwing over the middle of the field. Very comfortable throwing into tight windows and has the arm strength to pull it off. Improvisational skills are good for such a young prospect (will not turn 22 until late August). Fearless in the pocket, even when he knows he is about to take a hit. While he needs to add a bit of muscle, he possesses a great frame and near-ideal size to play the position.
