FU to Kenneth Walker! Two garbage weeks in a row
-
FU to CJ Stroud! More like FU to me for not starting him!
-
CJ Stroud, he's not too flashy, but he should give you a decent score, and you never know, he's a rookie, he could still blow up any week. I would be hard pressed to start Deshaun Watson if I didn't have to.
-
I guess it will be temptin to chase those numbers he put up 3-4 years ago. I don't think they're coming back though. I think the lawsuits killed his mentality, and the guaranteed contract killed any chance he had of working to get it back.
-
I saw that, now the real question is... Is anybody gonna actually start him on their fantasy teams? He should be available on waivers

QB Changes: Aidan O'Connell LV, Taylor Heinicke ATL Are In
polecatt replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I started the season with Deshaun Watson as my back up, but obviously that didn't go well. I have Stroud as my back up now. I don't plan on playing him unless something crazy happens but he's a serviceable back up. As good as anyone on waivers. He's only gonna get better. I have Anthony Richardson on IR. I like to draft at least one rookie QB every year and more if I can. They're great value and trade potential. It's not like the old days where rookies are terrible their first couple of seasons. -

Yes the QB position is awful this season it seems. I have Justin Herbert on my dynasty team, and I've tried to get some depth, but that's not gone so great -
Jake Ferguson I figure at this point looking for a TE, you're basically playing TD roulette. While his upside is limited, he's in the most stable situation. He's Dak's over the middle, short to intermediate range security blanket. He lingers around the area where Dak throws a bit of TDs, the 10-15 yard or so, over the middle range. If it's PPR, he's probably gonna get about 3-4 catches a game and 30-40 yards, probably 5-6 TDs overall. If you're lucky, he'll score 7-8 TDs.

I was down 11 going in, and my opponent had Jakobi Meyers. Nearly chalked it up as a loss, but won by 4! I have Kyle Pitts, so I'llt probably be checking the waiver wire this week too
-
I think he will still be quite active in the passing game. I think he will get a little more of a share of the carries too. I don't think he's gonna be scoring a lot of rushing TDs with Montgomery back though.

LaPorta bailed me out this week

Tony Pollard is the same thing the Cowboys did with Marion Barber. That is they made the complimentary RB in a duo the lead RB when he's best suited for the complimentary role. As a result, he's a disappointment in the lead role because he's all about efficiency, not volume. In other words, he misses Zeke. They don't have a RB that can pound it between the tackles on a regular basis. I don't expect Pollard to suddenly improve. I do expect him to gradually wear down as the season goes on. He'll be and RB2 at best. Taylor I think is the much better prospect for a break out. You have to figure that the Colts didn't just give him a contract extension after a hold out to play 2nd fiddle. The main concern is that Moss seems to be the guy who is gonna get it at the goal line.

I don't know what's worse, a team passing for -9 yards in a game, or the team that has to go to OT to beat the team that passed for -9 yards in a game
-
DeAndre Hopkins may not be what he used to be, but he can still have a monster game!
-
FU to the Eagles D/ST! You can't muster anything other than one measley pick against the Commanders?

Update: Deshaun Watson Out for the Year, Fields Expected to Play Wk11
polecatt replied to Law's topic in FFToday Board
Watson has been officially listed as out Justin Fields has been officially list as out -
I would take it. Jefferson is an elite WR and fantasy player. They said his injury is most likely 4-6 weeks. So he's about in the middle of that. Should be there for the fantasy playoffs. London is basically a flex option and his upside is limited on the Falcons. He's not in the same galaxy as Jefferson
-
Darnold was a good fantasy QB the first few games with the Panthers. He scores some rushing TDs too. I wouldn't get my hopes too high, but on the 49ers, he's not a bad bye week fill in or something like that
-
I would be very hesitant to start any Broncos, especially two RBs.
-
49ers coming back down to earth a little bit. Brock Purdy will catch up to them
-
Jordan Love might not be the guy
-
Surely Johnathan Taylor will be the guy at some point, but the Colts lost their starting QB for the season. They have a good back up in Minshew, but he's a dinker and dunker. There's a chance for both RBs to get some work.

It's weird. I saw a tweet with a supposed quote from Arthur Smith saying they need to be careful with Bijan's usage during the week. So I don't know, possibly some sort of NFL load management?
