Well, that's pretty much what Mostert is like. He can look like the best RB in NFL history for a couple of games and then be on the injury list for the next 6 weeks or so. Maybe the Dolphins can juggle two guys like that if Achane is injury prone as well.

I have a feeling that's what they're looking to do. I think back to when the eagles drafted Jalen Hurts in the 2md round when they still hoped Carson Wentz was salvageable. There was a lot of speculation at the time he was a back up, a gadget option, trade bait, all sorts of things. They were simply drafting his replacement. Or making it a strong option at least. I think that's the same thing that's going on in Dallas. The Cowboys see the writing on the wall with Dak. I don't know exactly how his contract situation could play out, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Trey Lance as the starter in 2025. They get two years to ease him into the system and get a good look at how he develops. He has a ton of talent. I think he will get his shot.

He's been on quite a tear, but it wasn't sustainable

Knee injury usually means it's minor or they don't know yet

Yeah, both of them had good games. I hindsight, should have started them both. They were my two highest scoring WRs today unless Ceedee Lamb has big 2nd half, which he probably won't.

I thought that the punt returner was to be given room to make the catch?

I think that's just in college. In the NFL I don't think it's a penalty as long as they don't make contact -
FU to pretty much my entire team this week outside of Sam LaPorta and Cooper Kupp. Anthony Richardson gets knocked out of the game with 1 freaking point! Justin Jefferson gets knocked out with 4 pts. The rest of them were just terrible on their own...
-
So much for him being rusty or limited. 5 catches for 56 yards in the 1st quarter

I would play the 49ers D. Dak struggles against good Defenses, especially with a good pass rush. I would expect them to force a turnover or two and get some sacks
-
Hollywood!

Goff, although keep in mind his offense is gonna be pretty banged up with Ra Brown out and Gibbs out at RB, their OL has some nicks too. The 49ers are pretty healthy, if they weren't facing a good D, I may would even consider Purdy

Cooper Kupp has been activated from IR according to ESPN

This thread started early this week! I guess that's just par for the course looking at the two teams playing.
-
He's been productive when he's gotten the ball. However, he's lacking in touches a bit.
-
It's not crazy to think about benching Pollard against the 49ers. That's the team he was injured against in the playoffs last season. They seem to bottle him up pretty well. However, I don't think I would bench him for Gus Edwards.
-
I think I would still take Allgeier. He's already shown he can be a productive RB. If Bijan is injured, or runs down a bit towards the end of the season, Allgeier should be a decent option. The other two. I wouldn't want anybody on the Broncos. Spears, if Henry goes down, he's gonna jump in, but they suck. And if Derrick Henry is struggling, then it's hard to think somebody else is play better.
-
He's a lot better IMO. Love, he's played pretty well. Certainly a capable starter. Stroud though, he's been amazing. He looks like a star. Much more upside.

While I certainly agree that Mahomes is a much better passer and QB than McNabb, don't forget that he had Jamaal Charles his first couple of seaons in KC. In fact, Charles best season of his career was the first season Reid was there. I think more than anything, Westbrook, McCoy, and Charles are just much more talented than all the other RBs he's had in Philly or KC. That comes to Pacheco. He's a good RB, in a good situation in KC. However, I just don't think he's on the same talent level as Westbrook, McCoy, or Charles. I just don't see that kind of production from him.
-
He's questionable with a quad injury this week. Not a good sign for a guy coming off an ACL injury. I don't think he's any more than another guy in a RBBC on a bad team, coming off a serious injury. Doesn't sound very appealing. Anything you get out of him this season is gravy. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't do anything until he's out of Denver
-
He's more of a value fantasy RB. He should give pretty good production and not cost a lot. He's basically a flex RB with some upside. I don't think his ceiling is very high though, but his floor is pretty good. He should get consistent production in KC's offense. Jerrick McKinnon looks like he could eat into some of his PPR points though, especially in the red zone. Just like last season. He's not a bad target for a trade, just don't pay too much
-
That's probably best. I wouldn't drop Allegier for a bye week fill in QB. He's one of the best handcuffs in the league.
-
I know Dak is playing the 49ers but I don't see any better options. One of them will probably have a better game, but it's a toss up as to who it is. If I had to pick one, Howell I suppose. He's been a decent option other than the debacle against Buffalo. That's not gonna happen against the Bears
-
I have both on my dynasty team. I put Kupp on IR to start the season. I picked up Nacua after week 1. I also have Kyren WIlliams as one of my two starting RBs. So I don't plan on starting 3 players from the same team. I'm deep at WR, so it's not a big deal. My biggest decision is which one to start? Leaning towards Kupp right now, if he's cleared to play.
-
I've had him on my dynasty team since he was a rookie and he's a nice guy to have on the team. That said, he's not my WR1, that would be J Jefferson. CeeDee at the end of the season, will probably have a stat line something like, 100 catches, 1200-1350 or so yards, and about 6-8 TDs. Which will probably put him in the bottom half of the top 10 of fantasy WRs. That would make him a WR1 in most leagues. He kind of reminds me of Julio Jones, not as a player, but a fantasy prospect. He'll be kind of streaky, most weeks he will put up serviceable numbers. You'll take it but you wished he had caught a couple of more passes. About 5-6 games or so though, he will put up big numbers and cover for the other weeks a bit.
