  1. So much for him sitting out the season. That of course would have been a huge mistake. It's gonna get to the point where RBs are pretty much completely phased out as we know them now. We'll see more hybrid RB/WR players, like Deebo. We'll also see to a lesser degree, a hybrid RB/TE, kind of like a FB. The traditional RB position as we know it now, will go the way of the Dodo bird
  2. They just put Dobbins on the PUP list, so that's not a good sign at all
  3. They will make the playoffs perhaps, but that's It. I don't see them unseating the BIlls as division champs, and certainly not the Super Bowl

Pacheco may start training camp on PUP list

I traded him on my dynasty team a while back The Chiefs will have RBBC once again

    Who ya taking?

CMC, he is a bit riskier I suppose, but comes with more upside.

    Breece Hall

If you have Breece Hall, it's because you want him to be a week in week out starter on your team. If not, then you're loaded at RB and his ACL isn't gonna be a huge issue to you any way. If he can play all or most of the season, he has a chance to be a top 5 RB and should be no worse than a top 10. Maybe his upside will be a bit limited but his floor should still be pretty high. If Rodgers fits in, then there's a lot a of potential even with just a modest output. Of course the likelihood he is limited is high, it's a high risk/high reward scenario
  7. 3 year rookie deals for RBs, with a 4th year option. I don't think NFL wants to open that can of worms though with rookie deals being dependent on position. They could do that, or adjust the franchise tag deal to where it's a deal in the average range of all FA, not just by position. That way players like RBs, who don't have a long shelf life don't have to wait 5 years, only to tagged.
  8. They really should limit the rookie deals for RBs. Give them 3 years not 5 years. As long as that's happening they're gonna get screwed

Taking a flier on a backup RB question?

Outside of that, James White has been a PPR stud on multiple occasions... It's not that they don't have good RBs, it's that they're never consistent

Sleeper RB's - who ya got

He is an interesting sleeper. Rodgers loves screen passes and Carter is great at that. He could have some big plays

    Javonte Williams 2023

I would pick him up in the 8th or 9th round. Why not?

    Best Redraft Position

I always think this is a trick question. Kind of like asking, is it better to score a Touchdown or a Field Goal? The best pick to have is the first pick. It's the most valuable pick in the draft. If you think you can get who you want with a lower pick, then work a trade.

Taking a flier on a backup RB question?

I would probably keep Moss. He seems to be in a back up role that's solid. Clearly JT is their main guy but should he get knicked up or worse, Moss steps right in. Who knows? There's a chance he carves out a red zone role and scores some TDs. Any RB for the Patriots is just unpredictable. He's not on top their depth chart either, if that means much. He will probably have a big game or two, but good luck knowing when that's gonna be vs the games he does nothing.

    Bounceback Players

    Both

    Bounceback Players

They all have some issues and Kupp certainly has a bit more than many, but it's not a stretch to think he's gonna be the #1 WR. If he is able to stay healthy, I think he's the easy favorite to be tops

    Bounceback Players

I thought you would take a QB in the 1st round

    Bounceback Players

I think Deshaun Watson has a big bounce back season

Kyler Murray: interesting article; gone in '24?

I think it's about anybody's guess what's gonna happen with Murray and the Cardinals long term.

    The Case for Chase

Jamarr Chase is a decent option for the first overall pick. I would probably put Justin Jefferson just ahead of him, but Chase is not too far behind. I don't think you will be very disappointed with either unless they are injured. WR is the dominant position now in fantasy football. The NFL has just changed to the point that RBs aren't what they used to be and WRs are more important than ever. There's still a few RBs worthy of a 1st round pick but not enough to be the majority. In PPR, a RB has to be quite active in the passing game to even be considered in the 1st round. That or be Derrick Henry. RBs are more like TEs. There's a few good ones and the rest it's pretty much weekly PPR or TD roulette

    Early keeper advice

I would keep Dotson and Pittman definitely due to their youth and upside. Theilen or Thomas, that's a tough call. It basically comes down to, do you want high floor or a high ceiling? Theilen probably doesn't have more upside than a flex option, but at worst he will be a guy you're glad you have on the bench when you need him. Thomas, we know his upside, at least we did 4-5 seasons ago. He's just 30, and should be fresh if he can stay healthy. If he can do that, the sky is the limit, kind of like Antonio Brown. Also like Antonio Brown, big if on the staying healthy and on the field. If you want to swing for the fences, take him, but it's probably just gonna be an easy pop fly.

Should Steve Smith start DJ Moore?

I wonder how many of the players play fantasy? I'm sure plenty of them do
  22. I would think they could keep Cousins. I don't think he's unreasonable too much. He will play on the tag too. I think he's there for two more seasons at the least. They may draft somebody and let him play behind Cousins a season on the tag and then take over after that. I think Addison or Quentin Johnson too, stepping into a similar role for the Chargers, any of those top three guys could break out, or possibly two or even all three. It's impossible to say that anyone is a clear favorite or a sure thing.
  23. That's what I'm seeing too. I think right out of the gate, next season, Addison may be the top guy, but Njigba apparently is the better long term. He could be the top WR in Seattle in a season or two. Don't see Addison ever being the top WR in Minnesota as long as Jefferson is there

Kenny Pickett, Brock Purdy, Trey Lance

A level numbers? Like 4500+ yards and 35+TDs? For a B level SF QB? I think about the last 49ers QB to do that was Steve Young lol

Kenny Pickett, Brock Purdy, Trey Lance

Okay, he's like Cooper Rush then, better comparison? Cooper looked like Pro Bowler too for a few games until he played the eagles lol Brock was very mediocre against the Cowboys the game before where he only passed for 200 and no TDs. He put up good numbers against mostly bad teams who were already on cruise control at the end of the regular season. Against good, playoff teams with better defenses, he's below average. That makes him a B level streaming option at best.
