The Cowboys D is a great fantasy D, or should be at least. Micah Parsons is one of the best pass rushers and all around defensive players in the NFL. Trevon Diggs is a great ballhawk CB. Sacks and turnovers lead to fantasy points. Plus they have pretty good special teams too. They should block a kick or two and perhaps run one back for a TD. I've streamed defenses like that for sometime now, and the Patriots are almost always a good team to stream with. I pick them about every season by default. Bill of course is a brilliant defensive coach. They tend to have an easy schedule and play several games in bad weather. You may not be able to get both of them, but they both should be half of an excellent stream.

I streamed to Cowboys and Patriots all last season and it went very well. I plan to do the same this season if I can.

I would keep Hopkins. He's good value there, and should be a decent flex option for the season. If he's healthy of course, he has WR1 upside. The two RBs, I know they seem like good value, but they're not players to keep. Pacheco is injured and White is on the Bucs who are gonna be terrible. Take Hopkins for what he is, good WR depth and possibly more.

Those are all top TE1s. Of course those guys should be taken over Taysom Hill. Even with those guys, There's still several games to where their production is quite minimal. When you get to low end TE2/waiver wire TEs. The kind of TE you're happy if they catch 3 passes for 45 yards in a game. Maybe two or three times a season they catch a TD. Taysom Hill offers an off chance of a huge game that those others just don't

I don't know much about him other than he's being hyped the 2nd most of the rookie RBs. I think people tend to over rate rookie RBs sometimes. People are saying Bijan should be the top overall pick sometimes. Atlanta isn't exactly the best spot and they have two other decent RBs. I know RBs adjust to the NFL better than any other position, but that said, they still often have a bit of a learning curve. Detroit isn't a bad spot and Gibbs should get plenty of opportunities. I would temper expectations a bit though before seeing him play a down. I would say he's a RB2/flex play at best this season. Maybe he blows up but that's not something to bank on.

I think if you're to the late teens or 20s in the TE rankings then Taysom Hill should be the choice. A lot of weeks he's not gonna get much of anything at all. However, 2-3 games he's gonna blow up, a whole lot more than a TE that low in the ranks. The weeks he doesn't blow up, you're likely only out a couple of points any way

CMC isn't exactly known for his durability. Deebo is the perfect back up for his role. Plus, he's gonna be set to spell him from time to time. When you have two very versatile players like that, you never know what a creative OC or coach or somebody may come up with

It will be interesting to see how Cordarelle Patterson ends up with Bijan and Allegier I guess Taysom Hill too is always possible to be a QB Antonio Gibson for the Commanders, he came in the NFL a hybrid RB/WR, I guess it's possible he gets pushed out wide Deebo Samuel of course could end up in the backfield

2023 Draft - Best Players to draft early. Who is a lock?
polecatt replied to justforbeer's topic in FFToday Board
That is a bit off, one of those guys with some body like CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle, AJ Brown perhaps -
Offered number one spot for my 12th pick in ppr league.
polecatt replied to the spanker's topic in FFToday Board
I would do it without hesitation, the first pick in the draft it worth a lot more than waiver wire priority -
I know what you mean, but that's a very big part of a RBs value, is their chance/ability to score from very short yardage. That's really the foundation of a solid fantasy RB.
-
True, but there's boatloads of people all over the country getting away with a lot worse, especially in DC, but that's another matter, a star RB certainly isn't gonna get locked up. That said, This will knock Kamara down a little, but it should boost Jamaal Williams a lot. A year off leading the NFL in rushing TDs, he's gonna be the starter for the first 3 games and will likely be an RB1. After that, he's an RB2/Flex. Remember how Latavius Murray would blow up the weeks he was starter. I expect Willams to do the same.

Problem with NFL fantasy editing pre draft list
polecatt replied to whatsupdoc's topic in FFToday Board
I'm just kind of guessing here, I've only played on NFL one time. I do kind of remember a similar issue though. If I remember correctly, you have to save the list after each and every change. You can't make all the changes and then save it or it will mess up. Hope that helps -
For the Cowboys, I know Dak has looked like trash in camp. Threw a terrible red zone pick today.

2023 Draft - Best Players to draft early. Who is a lock?
polecatt replied to justforbeer's topic in FFToday Board
Draft the best 2 available WRs. If you can get a duo like Jefferson/Diggs, or Chase/Hill or something similar to that, it would be the way to go IMO. -
The dreaded hamstring injury... Is there a worse thing in fantasy football? At least if they tear an ACL you know they're done and can move on
-
No, or ask for a better player, much better, like at least RB2 or WR2 along with the pick
-
I have used all 3 but my main leagues are and always have been on ESPN. It's the one I like most, probably because it's the one I'm most familiar with. It's not changed much in recent years. Yahoo is okay, didn't care a whole lot for NFL.com

People still care about smoking weed? Really? -
Didn't the Giants offer Barkley $13M a year for the first two years of a new contract?

Zeke's worked out really well for him, Jerry folded like a cheap suit on that one -
UPDATE: Dalvin Cook Expected to Sign with the Jets
polecatt replied to makindollaz's topic in FFToday Board
If they are to sign Zeke, I would say it knocks him down at least one round -

polecatt replied to makindollaz's topic in FFToday Board
I don't know, Zeke would likely eat into his TDs and catches -

I've been seeing reports too that Ezekiel Elliott may sign with the Patriots. If so, I would think that would knock Rhamondre Stevenson's value down a good bit, that is if you were going to rely on a Patriots RB
