Yeah exactly, and Pierce seems to do that exceptionally well. Richardson isn't really accurate, but he can pretty much out throw any coverage so that balances it out a bit.

Don't think being healthy saves your team, I only have had Puka be out much, and I have plenty of depth behind him. However, I'm sitting at 2-3... My two wins average score, 91-54 My three losses, 146 to 134

TNF Discussion: 49ers at Seahawks - Week 6

People sleep on Kenneth Walker, but when he's on the field, he's as consistent as they come... He's as locked into my starting line up as anyone on my team -
I understand giving up on Andrews, but LaPorta isn't exactly lighting it up either
-
Puka is the only one for me
-
To be fair, that was totally predictable though...
-
Matthew Wright He's bounced around the league for 3 seasons, doesn't exactly sound promising

Okay, we're 5 weeks in, and any preseason expectations should be a distant memory by now... Top 5 at each position power rankings... QB 1- Joe Burrow 2- Lamar Jackson 3- Baker Mayfield 4- Josh Allen 5- Dak Prescott RB 1- Derrick Henry 2- Saquon Barkley 3- Alvin Kamara 4- Kyren Williams 5- Brian Robinson Jr. WR 1- Ja'Marr Chase 2- Justin Jefferson 3- DK Metcalf 4- Malik Nabors 5- Rashid Shaheed TE 1- Brock Bowers 2- Tucker Kraft 3- Isaiah Likely 4- George Kittle 5- Pat Freiermuth

Not really, but I do remember a QB named Jay Schroeder. Had a cannon for an arm, and one of the best WR groups in NFL history, but couldn't hit a deep throw to save his life. This of course led to Doug Williams winning the Super Bowl. That said, my alternative is to start Chris Olave, who would have to catch a bunch of passes, get a bunch of yards, probably score a TD, just to equal what Shaheed can get from one big play. If Spencer Rattler can launch the ball downfield I figure the chances of him completing one deep pass to Shaheed are better than him having a field day with Olave. I may be wrong though, he could target one WR all game, and that would probably be Olave.

My league, a TD play over 40 yds is worth 12 pts and over 50 is 15 pts. Plus we get some for return yards too, not much but it helps.
-
No he's not, but he hits at least a couple of good deep balls a game and they're usually to Pierce. Just have to hope it goes for a TD
-
Not really, TB ranks 26th against WRs in my league
-
Yeah, sounds like he may be going on IR
-
I'm keeping Rashid Shaheed in my line up and rolling the dice with Spencer Rattler at QB. He supposedly had the strongest arm, or close to it, in the draft. I know Derek Carr has a strong arm, so maybe he can still rocket it down field to Shaheed.

49ers kicker Jake Moody is gonna be out at least a month with an ankle injury
-
Michael Pittman Jr is doubtful
-
Yeah Robinson has been very consistent. He's scored a TD in every game except one, and that one game he rushed for 133 yards. The QB is a big help to that team. Malik Nabors too, I didn't expect him to be a top 5 WR off the bat with the Giants, but he is. Rashid Shaheed, he may the best deep threat we've seen in a very long time. He statistically blows Desean Jackson out the water on the deep ball. Desean Jackson blows everybody else out the water. If he can keep that up, on my dynasty league with a long ball bonus, he's as valuable as anyone.

We're having a bit of a resurgence of the pocket passer QB in fantasy football this season after several season of heavily favoring the dual threat QBs. Derrick Henry is on pace for 1945 yards and 20 TDs. I think he can come close to that. Kyren Willams is another one that got ranked down that picked up right where he left off last season. I expect more of the same if he can stay on the field. I think he will almost certainly miss a game or two but hopefully that's it. I think he finishes a strong RB1
-
No he's right handed
-
Spencer Rattler time?
-
If you need an RB, sure. I think you just have to really temper expectations with a guy like him. Sure, you want the guy who is gonna rush for 1500 yards and 12 TDs but a much more realistic expectation is he's decent RB depth but not a guy you want to rely on to start each week.

UPDATE: Rashee Rice being carted off the field - Placed on IR
polecatt replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
Yeah I did -
Yeah that's exactly right about CeeDee, he was used to coasting in college and it took him two seasons to get going. Could say the same thing about Jerry Jeudy except he's not corrected the issue yet. Perhaps he's doing that now in Cleveland
